Tata Motors is all set to showcase its impressive electric portfolio (EVs), other green fuel technologies and a few limited edition versions of their ICE SUVs. Auto Expo will take place in Pragati Maidan between 17th to 22nd January, 2025.
The most anticipated models at the Expo, Harrier EV. The electric avatar of the Harrier promises to deliver better performance and efficiency. Harrier EV wants to cater to both the urbanite and the adventure seekers with its sturdy design and off-road capabilities. It will likely sport a 60kWh battery with a 500 Km range. Harrier EV’s main attraction is it will be the first all-electronic model from Tata to sport an AWD setup with an electric motor on each axle. The interiors are not revealed officially yet.
We have seen Tata Sierra EV in different phases of the concept, but this time it could be displayed in its closest to production version. The new Sierra EV is reminiscent of the original Sierra from the 90s. Technical specifications are not mentioned yet but we know it will be equipped with underpinnings similar to the Harrier EV and Safari EV. There is an ICE version of it too, which will be launching in future.
Tata Avinya Concept, first showcased in 2022, is another highlight of Tata, which is an innovative concept for its future products. It will not be a single model but a family of premium electric vehicles having futuristic appearance inside and out. At the upcoming Expo, Tata Motors could give us a sneak peek at the first of these models, although the show car will still likely be in the concept stage.
Tata Motors will feature special editions of some of its existing models, besides new EVs. Sources say, two EVs and one ICE vehicle will be showcased in a fresh special edition on the lines of the Kaziranga Edition that the carmaker had introduced back in 2022 across its SUV line-up. It could also showcase a flex-fuel version of Nexon or punch SUV. The newly updated Tiago and Tiago EV and the existing lineup of CNG vehicles will also be present.
