Tata Motors will launch the Curvv coupe SUV on September 2, featuring a sleek design, advanced tech, and a choice of powertrains, including an electric option.
Tata Motors is set to unveil the Curvv coupe SUV on September 2, marking a significant expansion of its SUV line-up. This follows the vehicle's concept reveal at last year's Auto Expo and a near-production prototype display at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. The official launch will include details on pricing and the start of bookings.
The Tata Curvv Coupe SUV is designed to make a notable impact in the competitive SUV market with its coupe-like profile and sporty aesthetics. The vehicle features a sharply sloping roofline, sleek LED light strips, and dual-projector headlamps, creating a unique front face. Its profile is accentuated by muscular wheel arches, while the rear is distinguished by a prominent LED light bar and a sporty rear spoiler.
For safety, the Curvv is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking.
The Curvv will feature both front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. For engine options, it will include upgraded 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L diesel engines from the Tata Nexon, with various transmission choices. The Tata Curvv will be a direct rival to the recently launched Citroen Basalt. It will also compete with models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
