The Japanese Technology giant Sony has started the testing of Electric car on roads, even though the company has no current plans for sale in the near future. These Electric cars are being tested in Austria.
Sony has not yet provided the detailed Specification of their cars. Some of the specifications that have been disclosed are the car's dimensions, which measures 1,450 mm in height, 1,900 mm in width and 4,895 mm in length. The expected ground clearance of the vehicle is said to be 120 mm and will have a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.

These Electric cars are being tested in Austria. Sony Vision-S mainly focused on its interior and extra features that could be made available. Sony Vision-S prototype was sent to Tokyo in July 2020 for improving its audio features and sensing. It is said that Sony Vision S Electric Car has focused on driver support with 33 inbuilt sensors.
On January 07 at CES 2020, the Vision-S car was showcased. It is said that the model was moved from Las Vegas to Graz in Austria, where the actual development centre is located. The Japanese top manufacturing firm Sony has focused on safety, entertainment and comfort of their users. Sony claims that they have fully tested the car on roads which has been built by AL and Robotics team so that they can ensure that Vision S will obey the norms and regulations. However, Sony is working for hand on hand focusing on Magna-Steyr as well to ensure that their modern car will hit the roads in Europe.
The Driverless Paradigm of Sony comes with 33 inbuilt sensors which can detect passengers around and even vehicles nearby to provide best driving support. Sony is experienced in the field of Entertainment and Electronics segment, which can be implemented in future generation Electric Cars. The Electronic devices are been send to other Automakers and now Sony has decided to develop their own product with all the necessary features inbuilt in the cars.

Sony Vision S claims the top speed of the car will be 240kmph and can reach from 0 to 100 in just 4.8 seconds.
Sony’s Electronics is considered to be one of the best and Vision S will be facilitated by Sony’s 360 Degree Audio offering the best experience to their customers. The speakers are said to be fixed inbuilt in every seat of the car so that each and every passenger inside the car can enjoy and feel of the music with a personalised audio configuration option. There will be a panoramic screen in the car that can be accessed by the passenger and the driver.
The Vision S will consist of Numerous Sensors inbuilt which will continuously keep a track on the inside and the outside environment. The additional features of vision S will include Oval Sensing, Driving Assistance, Advanced Camera Monitoring System, Driver Monitoring. Oval Sensing will keep an eye 360 degrees around the car and will also focus on safety when the car is in motion, Driver Assistance will include some special features like Self-Parking, auto-lane changing options, advanced cruise control which will provide next-level driving assistance. Camera Sensors will keep an eye on the vehicles coming nearby and will give an alert to the driver even before the driver notices it. One of the Unique features in the Vision S will include monitoring the condition of the driver and passengers depending on the facial expressions and body movements which will help to provide necessary alerts to the drivers and accordingly will set the temperature inside the car. One of the Advanced Audio engineering systems have been designed for this vision-S car which will provide audio signal processing technology and customers will have the real audio experience inside the cabin space.
