Discover the latest move in the corporate world as Sidhart Shakdher, the Chief Marketing Officer of Disney+Hotstar, takes on the role of Global Chief Business Officer at Ola Mobility.
Key Highlights:
Former Disney+Hotstar EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Sidhart Shakdher, has assumed the role of Global Chief Business Officer at ANI Technologies (Ola Mobility), a significant move in the tech and mobility industry.
While the news of Shakdher's transition from Disney+Hotstar to Ola Mobility has not received any comment by either party, sources close to the development suggest that he will be spearheading Ola's revenue, growth, and marketing endeavors both in India and across international markets. His responsibilities will encompass established mobility ventures as well as burgeoning sectors such as e-commerce within the Ola ecosystem.
Shakdher prior to his tenure at Disney+Hotstar, served as the head of marketing and growth at Amazon, stationed in Seattle. During his time at Amazon, he played a pivotal role in managing the US third-party marketplace. Before his time in Amazon, Shakdher held the position of category marketing head at Reckitt Benckiser, where he achieved success in launching and establishing the renowned brand Dettol in the highly competitive US personal care segment.
With nearly 2.5 decades of diverse experience spanning across esteemed organisations such as Samsung, Canon, HP, and Xerox, Shakdher's appointment underscores Ola's strategic focus on leveraging top-tier talent to drive innovation and expansion across its various business verticals.
While Shakdher's transition marks a significant chapter in his illustrious career, it also reflects Ola Mobility's commitment to tapping into seasoned industry professionals to propel its global ambitions forward. His extensive background in marketing, growth strategy, and business development positions him as a valuable asset for Ola Mobility as the company continues to evolve and diversify its offerings in response to the dynamic needs of the modern consumer.
