Tata Motors Limited has released its sales figures for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25, revealing that the company sold a total of 138,682 passenger vehicles globally. This represents a marginal decline of 1% compared to the same period last year.

In Q1 FY25, Tata Motors sold a total of 16,579 Electric Vehicles (EVs) globally, marking a 14% decline from the previous year. This reduction is attributed to changes in government subsidies and broader market conditions, including significant fleet sales in Q4 FY24 due to the expiration of the FAME II subsidy in March 2024. Despite the slight growth in the personal segment, the fleet segment witnessed a notable decline, with expectations for a recovery in subsequent quarters as market conditions stabilize and demand strengthens.

Executive Insights:

Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., commented on the performance, noting a fluctuating demand influenced by seasonal factors and political events. He expressed confidence in a recovery, driven by strong consumer interest and upcoming festive season sales.

Future Prospects:

Looking forward, Tata Motors anticipates a rebound in passenger vehicle sales, buoyed by a robust pipeline of customer inquiries and the onset of the festive season from August onwards. The company remains committed to leveraging this growth opportunity with strategic product launches and market initiatives.

Maserati GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello: A 100% Electric Luxury Convertible Inspired by Italian Craftsmanship

Maserati has introduced a special edition of its GranCabrio Folgore model, inspired by Tignanello wine to mark its 50th anniversary. Tignanello, renowned for its innovative winemaking techniques, serves as the inspiration for this bespoke creation.

In collaboration with Marchesi Antinori, a distinguished Italian winemaking family with over 600 years of heritage, Maserati has crafted a one-of-a-kind GranCabrio Folgore. This custom model will be auctioned at the Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All Gala in California.

The GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello blends tradition with modernity, featuring a custom Terra di Tignanello paint that echoes the vineyard's soil tones and Tignanello's iconic red shades. Money from the auction will go to support the charitable causes, adding a generous touch to this exclusive automotive and cultural event.

As Maserati’s first 100% electric convertible, the GranCabrio Folgore promises exceptional performance and comfort, setting new standards in the luxury electric vehicle segment.
