Nissan opens two showrooms and a service workshop in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and delivers the first 4th Generation X-TRAIL in India, highlighting its commitment to the Southern region.
Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has announced a significant expansion of its network in Karnataka, with the simultaneous launch of three new customer touchpoints in Bengaluru. These additions include two showrooms and one high-capacity service workshop, reinforcing Nissan’s commitment to the Indian market. The first delivery of the All-New 4th Generation X-TRAIL in India also took place at one of these new locations.
On August 14, 2024, Nissan Motor India expanded its network to 273 touch points across India with the inauguration of three new facilities in Bengaluru. This expansion includes two showrooms and a state-of-the-art service workshop, marking a major milestone in Nissan’s ongoing efforts to enhance customer experiences and accessibility in key markets, particularly in Karnataka.
The new touchpoints, which include Jubilant Nissan showrooms and a service workshop, were inaugurated by Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India. The inauguration signifies the deepening relationship between Jubilant MotorWorks and Nissan Motor India, extending their presence from Delhi NCR to Bengaluru. These launches are part of Nissan’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in critical regions, with Karnataka playing a pivotal role.
In conjunction with the opening of the new Nagarbhavi showroom, Jubilant Nissan delivered the first unit of the All-New 4th Generation X-TRAIL to a customer in India. This vehicle, powered by Nissan’s innovative Variable Compression Turbo technology, is the first of its kind to be delivered in the country, aligning with Nissan’s plan to start customer deliveries in August 2024.
Nissan’s Commitment to Karnataka
With the addition of these new touchpoints in Bengaluru, Nissan now operates a total of 18 customer touchpoints in Karnataka, including 10 sales and 8 service locations. The network in Karnataka is expected to grow further with the addition of two new touchpoints in Mangalore, highlighting Nissan’s aggressive growth strategy for the Southern region.
Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., commented on the expansion, stating, "The Southern region is a significant contributor to Nissan’s sales in India, with Karnataka emerging as one of our strongest markets. The new Jubilant Nissan touchpoints in Bengaluru will further strengthen our presence and meet the growing demand for Nissan products. We aim to reach 300 touchpoints by the end of this fiscal year."
