The new Burgman Street variant is launched with a larger 12-inch rear wheel.
Suzuki has launched the brand new Burgman Street EX at Rs 1,12,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In Burgman Street line-up Street EX joins the standard version and the Ride Connect Version. Suzuki had released a teaser on this variant on social media earlier.
Highlights
A silent starter and an auto start/stop function.
Street EX costs Rs 22,400 more than the base Burgman model.
An Advanced version of Suzuki’s fuel- saving Eco Performance Technology.
EX is equipped with a larger 12-inch rear wheel as compared to the ongoing Burgman Street Variants which is working with a 10-incher wheel. It has a wider 100/80-12 tyre, a silent starter system and an auto start/stop function. Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-α),tech, which is an advanced version of Suzuki’s fuel- saving Eco Performance Technology has also been equipped in Burgman Street.
Street EX has been presented with minor differences in terms of weight and dimensions. EX weighs 111 kg which is 1 kg more than the standard Burgman. It also has a 25 mm longer wheelbase and is 5mm narrower than the standard Burgman. However, The EX will be continued to be generated by the previous 124cc,2-valve, single-cylinder engine that is currently fuelling the rest of the Burgman Street range. The EX bring out 0.1hp less (8.6hp) at a little lower rpm while the torque will remain same at 10Nm.
Street EX is featured with an LED headlight, One Bluetooth-enabled LCD and a USB charging socket .The new Burgman Street has been launched in three colours ;Platinum Silver, Bronze and Black.
The new Burgman Street EX priced at Rs 22,400 more than the standard Burgman and Rs 19,000 more than the Ride Connect version. Speaking of rivals, the Burgman Street competes with the Aprilia SXR 125 the one and only other maxy -style scooter.
