Get ready to save big on MG Motor cars this December! Enjoy discounts of up to ₹ 1.50 lakh before the New Year Price Hike.
MG Motor, a prominent automaker in India, has unveiled an enticing offer for car enthusiasts across the nation with its December Fest. This limited-time benefit scheme, revealed on December 8, encompasses substantial discounts on the entire range of MG Motor models. As part of this festive promotion, customers can enjoy benefits of up to ₹1.50 lakh on the ex-showroom prices of MG vehicles.
This move by MG Motor aligns with the trend seen among various car manufacturers in India, who are rolling out year-end sales and discounts. The December Fest initiative is slated to continue until the culmination of this year, presenting a lucrative opportunity for prospective buyers.
Table highlighting the discounts offered on various MG Motor models as part of the December Fest
The discount scheme arrives ahead of an impending price revision scheduled for January, set to affect MG Motor's entire lineup. This strategic rollout of benefits precedes the British-origin automaker's adjustment of prices, prompting eager buyers to capitalize on the current advantageous pricing.
Under the December Fest umbrella, flagship models like Gloster, Astor, and the electric ZS EV take center stage with substantial benefits. The Gloster and Astor SUVs headline the offerings, with discounts of up to ₹1 lakh alongside additional exchange benefits amounting to ₹50,000.
The ZS EV, MG Motor's pioneering electric vehicle in India, also presents itself with comparable benefits as part of this exclusive scheme.
Notably, other popular models such as Hector, Hector Plus, and Comet EV are included in the December Fest. The immensely popular Hector model entices buyers with a straight benefit of ₹50,000, while the new generation Hector boasts an exchange bonus of ₹50,000.
Meanwhile, the Comet EV, currently recognized as India's most affordable electric vehicle, showcases a remarkable discount of ₹65,000 with no supplementary benefits attached.
However, MG Motor has also announced an impending price hike from January, affecting models like Hector, Hector Plus, Astor, Gloster SUVs, and the Comet EV and ZS EV electric vehicles.
The decision to revise prices stems from increased production costs, as indicated by the automaker. Rising inflation and escalating commodity prices have necessitated this adjustment, prompting MG Motor to take this step to maintain viability in the market.
The recent transition of 35 percent ownership to Indian conglomerate JSW from its Chinese owner SAIC underscores the brand's strategic shifts. This change in ownership, coupled with the impending price adjustments, signifies a pivotal phase for MG Motor in India's competitive automotive landscape.
As MG Motor braces for the upcoming price revisions, prospective buyers have a limited window to capitalize on the lucrative December Fest offers, making this an opportune moment to acquire their desired MG vehicle at significantly discounted rates.
