Maruti Suzuki makes the Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP) standard across all passenger vehicles, enhancing safety without increasing costs. In all models like S-presso, Alto K 10 and more.

Maruti Suzuki Sets New Safety Standard with ESP in All Models

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has taken a significant step in enhancing passenger safety by making the Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP) a standard feature across its entire passenger vehicle lineup. This move reflects Maruti Suzuki's ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its customers, all while maintaining competitive pricing.

ESP Now Standard Across All Models

The latest additions to Maruti Suzuki's safety-equipped lineup include popular models like the Alto K10 and S-Presso, which are now equipped with the ESP system. By making this advanced safety feature standard across all models, Maruti Suzuki underscores its dedication to delivering safer vehicles without compromising affordability.

Understanding ESP

ESP, or Electronic Stability Program, is a vital safety technology designed to prevent vehicles from skidding and losing control. It works by integrating the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TCS), and Stability Control (SC). Through the use of sensors that monitor the vehicle's movement, and an electronic control unit that adjusts its trajectory, ESP helps to ensure that the vehicle stays on its intended path, enhancing both stability and control.

Enhancing Safety Standards

With the inclusion of ESP, Maruti Suzuki is setting a new benchmark for safety in the automotive industry. ESP complements other safety features in Maruti Suzuki vehicles, such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, engine immobilizer, HEARTECT Platform, and a collapsible steering column. This comprehensive approach to safety ensures that Maruti Suzuki vehicles offer not only reliability but also top-tier protection for their occupants.

Maruti Suzuki's Commitment to Safety

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, highlighted the company's focus on democratizing advanced safety features. He stated, "The addition of Electronic Stability Program+ as a standard feature on Maruti Suzuki's product portfolio aligns with our endeavor to democratise advanced features and significantly increases the value proposition of our vehicles.

This is a step towards ensuring that our customers enjoy enhanced safety through improved driving confidence regardless of the model they choose. At Maruti Suzuki, we believe that advanced technology should be accessible to all, and this reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles that cater to the diverse needs of Indian consumers."
