Maruti Suzuki Set to Introduce Invicto, an Upscale Seven-Seater MPV

Maruti Suzuki, India's leading automobile manufacturer, is gearing up for a significant launch with its upcoming seven-seater MPV, the Invicto. Slated to hit the market on July 5, the Invicto will be based on the renowned Toyota Innova Hycross platform, marking a collaboration between the two automakers.

This much-anticipated MPV is expected to carry a price tag of approximately ₹25 lahks, making it the highest-priced model ever produced by Maruti Suzuki. With its premium positioning, the Invicto is likely to be retailed through Maruti Suzuki's upscale Nexa dealership network.

The automaker has already offered a glimpse of the Invicto MPV through a teaser image, providing a tantalizing preview of its overall silhouette. From the initial impression, it becomes evident that Maruti Suzuki is targeting urban customers with a focus on premium aesthetics.

The teaser's silhouette also suggests that the Invicto will bear a striking resemblance to the Toyota Innova Hycross, ensuring a harmonious blend of style and practicality.

The Invicto MPV is set to enter the market as Maruti Suzuki's latest flagship offering, promising a host of advanced features and upscale elements. As the company diversifies its portfolio, Invicto aims to cater to customers seeking a spacious and luxurious family vehicle. With the popularity of MPVs on the rise in India, the Invicto's launch is eagerly awaited by enthusiasts and prospective buyers alike.

Stay tuned for further updates and detailed information about the Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV as its launch date approaches. The arrival of this upscale seven-seater promises to elevate Maruti Suzuki's brand presence and solidify its position as a key player in the Indian automotive market.

First Toyota-Suzuki Partnership Model

Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV is the first product resulting from the Suzuki-Toyota global partnership. This collaboration has already seen the successful introduction of the Toyota Glanza and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, both based on Maruti Suzuki models.

The Invicto MPV will be based on the premium Toyota Innova Hycross platform. This partnership allows Maruti Suzuki to tap into Toyota's engineering expertise and offer customers a range of high-quality options. The Invicto MPV promises to combine spaciousness, versatility, and luxury, catering to the growing demand for premium seven-seater vehicles in India.

Exterior Design

Similar to the Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which share a striking resemblance to their Maruti Suzuki counterparts, the upcoming Invicto MPV is set to follow suit. While maintaining a similar overall design, the Invicto MPV will feature subtle modifications to its front fascia, much like the distinct touches seen on the Glanza and Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Petrol and Hybrid Engine

The Toyota Innova Hycross offers both petrol-only and petrol-hybrid engine options, and it is expected that the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV will have the same choices. The Invicto MPV is likely to share the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with the Maruti Suzuki Invicto.

This engine comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and delivers powerful performance. The petrol-only model provides a fuel economy of around 16.13 kmpl, while the hybrid variant offers an impressive mileage of approximately 23.24 kmpl. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto MPV, priced at around ₹ 25 lakhs (ex-showroom), will compete with rivals like Kia Carens, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari in the premium MPV segment.
