Maruti Suzuki introduces the WagonR Waltz Limited Edition with enhanced features, updated interiors, and a reverse parking camera, available across LXi, VXi, and ZXi variants.

Maruti Launches Waltz Limited Edition at Rs. 5.64 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the WagonR Waltz Limited Edition, a fresh take on its popular hatchback, with the festive season approaching in India. Priced at Rs. 5,64,671 (ex-showroom), this special edition is available across LXi, VXi, and ZXi variants, offering fuel and transmission options. The launch aims to reinvigorate interest in the WagonR, which has been a bestseller in its segment since its introduction in 1999 and currently holds a 64% market share.

The WagonR Waltz Limited Edition features several exterior enhancements, including:

  • Fog lamps with garnish
  • Wheel arch cladding
  • Side body molding
  • Chrome grille
  • Side skirts
  • New bumper protectors

Talking about the interior, the limited edition features new floor mats, a styling kit, and a 6.2-inch touchscreen music system with Bluetooth connectivity. Safety upgrades of the Waltz Edition include a new security system and a reverse parking camera, complementing existing features such as dual airbags, traction control, hill hold assist, ABS, EBD, and ESC.

Under the hood, the WagonR Waltz retains its engine line-up, offering 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre K Series, Dual Jet, and Dual VVT petrol engines with Idle Start Stop (ISS) technology. These engines are paired with manual and AMT (AGS) transmissions, with a CNG option available for the 1.0-litre engine with manual transmission.

The WagonR has been a success story for Maruti Suzuki, reaching significant milestones throughout its 25-year history. It achieved its first million sales in 2012, followed by 2 million in 2017, and 3 million in 2023. The model competes with other Maruti offerings like the Swift, Baleno, and Alto, as well as rivals such as the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, i20, Tata Tiago, and Toyota Glanza.

This limited edition release seeks to capitalize on the Maruti Suzuki WagonR's enduring popularity and adapt to changing consumer preferences in the competitive hatchback segment.
