The ultimate production version of the Mahindra XUV700 electric SUV would have a battery pack capacity of up to 80kWh. It is available with an AWD (all-wheel drive) system. The electric SUV's power output is expected to be between 230bhp and 350bhp.

The XUVe.8 will be built on Mahindra's innovative INGLO modular platform, which can accommodate a variety of body shapes, wheelbases, track measurements, engine options, and AWD and RWD systems. All of Mahindra's forthcoming EVs will have the same battery back design and two distinct cell architectures: Prismatic (for the smaller battery pack) and Blade (for the larger battery pack).
