Kia Soul is a globally praised SUV and we witnessed it in its electric vehicle form at Auto Expo 2020. Recently, Kia has filed for the trademark of the name in India which indicates that the vehicle might be here in times to come. Kia Soul .jpgGlobally, Kia Soul is available with electric and ICE powertrains, however as per Kia’s statement which says they’ll enter a new segment by 2022, we have hopes that Soul will be here in its electric avatar. Another proof of the same could be the Kia experience centers where Soul EV can be seen in its glory.

Kia Soul ICE versions get 2.0-litre naturally aspirated and 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol units in the global market. These engines are also offered with Kia Seltos in countries and continents like Australia and Europe. However, in India we get 1.5-litre NA and 1.4-litre turbo petrol units. If Soul enters India with an ICE engine (though the chances are very rare), it may receive the same engine options.

On the other hand, the electric version of the car gets a 64kWh electric powerhouse that’s good for 198 bhp of power and 394 Nm of torque. If Soul electric vehicle launches in India, it’ll lock its horns with Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS and Hyundai Kona EV. More Info :- KIA SOUL
