Kia's upcoming EV4, a unique blend of sedan and SUV, has been spotted testing. The production model closely resembles its concept version, showcasing Kia's "Opposites Unite" design philosophy.
Kia's upcoming EV4, an innovative fusion of sedan and SUV, has been sighted undergoing road tests. Set for a 2025 launch, the EV4 maintains much of its concept design, embodying Kia's "Opposites Unite" philosophy. The Kia EV4 showcases a distinctive approach to the coupe roofline, presenting a striking silhouette that blends sedan and crossover elements. Despite heavy camouflage, the spy shots reveal that Kia has remained faithful to the original concept's bold design introduced at last year’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
The EV4's profile resembles the EV6 electric crossover up to its C-pillars, beyond which its unique sedan-crossover shape becomes more pronounced. The interior is expected to mirror the recently launched EV3, featuring a minimalist dashboard, eco-friendly materials, and advanced display systems.
Regarding powertrains, the EV4 is likely to share components with the EV3. This could include options between 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh battery packs, coupled with a single electric motor producing 200 bhp and 283 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels.
While an India launch hasn't been confirmed, there's a possibility that the Kia EV4 electric sedan crossover might reach Indian shores. As more test mules get spotted in the future, additional details about this unique electric vehicle are expected to emerge.
