Hyundai Creta prices have been recently revised with slight increase across the variants. To fill the gap, Hyundai has introduced the SX Executive variant which sits below the SX variants.

This new variant has slightly lesser features. It misses out on a 10.25 inch touch screen display and Blue Link connectivity feature. Along with these features, this variant also misses out on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, voice recognition function, burglar alarm Arkamys Sound Mood and driver rearview monitor.Hyundai Creta SX.jpg

To cover that, it gets an 8-inch infotainment system from Arkymis. It also gets a day/night mirror, fully functional steering wheel with mounted controls for music player, body-coloured door handles, reversing camera, USB port, Bluetooth mic, shark fin antenna, etc.

Hyundai Creta SX Executive variant will be available with 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. These engines are capable of generating 115PS/144Nm and 115PS/250Nm of power and torque figures respectively. In terms of prices, they carry Rs. 13.14 lakhs for petrol and Rs. 14.14 Lakhs diesel versions (Ex-Showroom).

The South Korean company is aiming for big volumes of this variant being delivered as it comfortably fills the gap between S and SX variants. While it is Rs. 95,000 costlier than the S variant, it is Rs. 79,000 cheaper than the SX variant.

While the turbo petrol variant is still an expensive affair at Rs. 17.67 lakhs, it comes with all the bells and whistles that a power packed performance vehicle should have considering Indian road conditions. Still, the new SX executive trim is a value for money package and if diesel is in your mind, you can’t go wrong with this variant. Let us know what you think about this variant in the comments below.
