Hyundai, the South Korean automotive giant, is set to introduce the sportier iteration of its popular mid-size SUV, the Creta. Known as the Creta N Line, this high-performance model was recently spotted without camouflage during a TVC shoot, suggesting that its launch is just around the corner. The Creta N Line will join Hyundai's N Line range in India, following the success of the i20 N Line and Venue N Line currently available in the country.

The exterior of the Creta N Line is expected to receive significant cosmetic updates, mirroring the design philosophy seen in the i20 N Line and Venue N Line. The model spied during the TVC shoot showcased a signature Thunder Blue color with a glossy Abyss Black dual-paint theme on the pillars and roof. A bright Red strip along the side profile, N logo on the rear, and chrome additions at the front further enhance the sporty aesthetics of the SUV.

Inside the cabin, the Creta N Line will feature an all-black theme with contrasting red accents on various elements, including the AC vents, gear shifter, center console, and door panels. Expect to see the N logo on seats, upholstery, steering wheel, and metal finish pedals. The high-end variant is likely to offer premium features such as front ventilated seats, an electronic park brake, a dual 10.25-inch screen combining infotainment and driver console, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, and advanced connected technologies.

Performance

Under the hood, the Creta N Line is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, delivering 158 bhp peak power and 253 Nm of maximum torque. Transmission options are likely to include a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a six-speed manual unit. The SUV will offer three driving modes – Normal, Eco, and Sport, with paddle shifters available in the automatic variant.
