The Creta EV is set to be equipped with a 45kWh battery pack supplied by LG Chem. Although this places it slightly behind competitors like the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Maruti eVX in terms of battery capacity, it surpasses the Nexon EV long-range. Real-world range estimates hover around 250 km on a single charge. The electric motor is expected to be shared with the latest-gen Kona EV, boasting a front-axle-mounted motor producing approximately 138hp and 255 Nm of torque.

As Hyundai Motors India Limited prepares for the Creta EV's imminent launch, the electric SUV emerges as a promising contender in the Indian electric vehicle market. The fusion of the Creta facelift's striking design with EV-specific enhancements showcases Hyundai's commitment to delivering not only a stylish and functional vehicle but also one that aligns with the future of sustainable mobility. With an expected launch by the end of 2024 and a competitive on-road pricing range of Rs. 22-27 Lakh in Mumbai, the Hyundai Creta EV is assured to make a significant impact and set new standards in the electric SUV segment.
