Hyundai Creta Electric's standout features before its launch—dual-zone climate control, 171 PS motor, 51.4 kWh battery, and fast-charging tech. Competing with Tata Curvv EV and MG ZS EV, it redefines electric SUV style and performance.
Hyundai Creta Electric is about to launch tomorrow and before checking the price you should check out all the features that you are about to get. With an estimated ex-showroom price of about Rs 21.49 lakh, the Creta Electric will go up against the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and the soon-to-be Maruti e Vitara. Combining the advantages of electric mobility with the capabilities of its ICE predecessor, the Hyundai Creta Electric is expected to be a feature-rich and well-rounded entry to the electric car market.
The Creta Electric will have the same dimension as the ICE version but few of the features are different like the front grille which is in pixelated theme just like Ioniq 5. Also the front air dam has active air flaps that improves its aerodynamics. Creta Electric features aero style 17 inch alloy wheels with low rolling resistance. And you get to see electric badges at the front and rear.
Almost the entire interior is the same as the ICE version with few upgrades in steering wheel, color scheme, floating console, advanced display and climate control. The three spoke steering wheel features a circular horn boss with four dots showing H in Morse code. Inside the cabin features a dual tone Granite Grey and Dark Navy. At the lower center floating console has been redesigned with open storage space and blue ambient lighting.
In Creta EV you get a dual 10.25 inch display for both instrument cluster and information system. On top of that you will get dual zone climate control with touch-sensitive keys and practical physical toggles for temperature and volume control.
The Creta Electric is built on the ICE platform but has undergone significant reworking to accommodate its electric powertrain:
