Let's delve into the key specifications and features that make the Vitpilen 250 an irresistible choice for riders seeking a thrilling and stylish experience on the road.
Exterior: The Vitpilen 250 boasts a slim body design, accentuated by the presence of bronze engine covers that add a touch of sophistication to its sleek exterior.
Lights: Stand out on the road with new front and rear LED lights that not only enhance visibility but also contribute to the modern aesthetic of the motorcycle.
Handlebar: The roadster-style handlebars, positioned higher and straighter, provide not just a stylish look but also house a handlebar-mounted dashboard displaying crucial information such as fuel level, speed, and selected gear.
Tank: Aesthetic meets functionality with the 13-liter fuel tank. The tank cover seamlessly blends into the side panels, allowing unrestricted movement on the machine. The aluminum filler cap adds a final touch of elegance.
Seat: Designed for comfort and accessibility, the low-profile seat stands at 829 mm, ensuring easy access. The super comfortable seat is complemented by a standard pillion grab handle.
Single Cylinder: The Vitpilen 250 is equipped with a single-cylinder SOHC engine that, despite its lightweight, delivers smooth and controllable power.
Easy Shift: Experience seamless gear changes without the need for a clutch, thanks to the innovative easy shift feature. The EMS (Engine Management System) momentarily limits power during gear changes, enhancing the overall riding experience.
Brakes: Safety is paramount with hydraulic ByBre brake calipers, a 320 mm front disc, and a 240 mm rear disc. The Bosch ABS ensures optimal braking performance, and the Supermoto mode disengages the ABS at the rear wheel for advanced control.
Ride Modes: Adapt to diverse riding conditions with two ride modes – street and rain. The standard street mode ensures optimal performance, while rain mode can be activated in adverse weather conditions.
Exhaust: Compliant with EURO 5+ regulations, the exhaust system features a double catalyzer system, high-strength steel construction, and a premium matte black finish silencer.
Frame: Built on a robust steel trellis frame, the Vitpilen 250 strikes a perfect balance between strength and low weight, providing stability and agility on the road.
Suspension: Experience a smooth ride with WP suspension, featuring 43mm WP APEX forks at the front and a progressive spring design at the rear. The suspension offers 150 mm of travel, with adjustable preloads for a personalized experience.
Ergonomics: Enhanced stability is achieved with a slightly longer wheelbase, complemented by a 15mm lower seat, revised triple clamp offset, and a rider-friendly riding position.
Wheels and Tyres: Style meets performance with 17-inch cast alloy wheels sporting a six-spoke aero design. MRF Revz-C tyres ensure optimal grip and handling on various road surfaces.
Swingarm: The cast aluminum swingarm not only contributes to a modern appearance but also provides additional space for the new silencer.
Connectivity: Stay connected on the go with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. Answer calls, play music, and follow turn-by-turn navigation instructions through the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles app.
TFT Dashboard: A 5-inch TFT dashboard with an LCD screen displays crucial information such as travel speed, fuel level, and selected gear. The dashboard is intuitively controlled by new backlight switch cubes on the left end of the handlebar.
The transmission system features a smooth 6-speed gearbox. Optimal temperature management is achieved through a liquid-cooling system. The electric starter ensures a reliable ignition by generating a formidable 23 kW of power. A stroke length of 61.2 mm and a bore diameter of 72 mm contribute to the engine's efficient performance. The PASC anti-hopping clutch, mechanically operated, enhances stability during gear changes.
The engine's carbon emissions are measured at 63.5 g/km, adhering to environmental regulations. With a displacement of 249.1 cc, the Vitpilen 250 packs a punch within its compact frame. The Bosch EMS with RBW (Ride-by-Wire) ensures precise electronic throttle control.
The engine follows a 1-cylinder, 4-stroke design for a perfect balance of power and efficiency. Fuel consumption is impressively low, standing at 2.7 liters per 100 km. Forced oil lubrication, coupled with two oil pumps, guarantees consistent engine lubrication.
The bike will be competing with KTM 250 Duke, Bajaj Dominar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and BMW G 310 R in the Indian Market. However, 2024 Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is not just a motorcycle; it's a symphony of style, thrill, and technology. Whether navigating city streets or conquering winding roads, the Vitpilen 250 promises an unparalleled riding experience that truly redefines the joy of motorcycling. Get ready to embark on a journey where every curve, every shift, and every moment on the Vitpilen 250 is an adventure waiting to unfold.
