Hero MotoCorp brings XPulse 200 4V Rally Racing Edition priced Rs 1.5 lakh in India

Hero MotoCorp has launched the new edition XPulse 200 4V in its rally racing colours in India. The new XPulse Rally edition price is Rs 1,52,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi) approximately Rs 16,000 extra compared to the XPulse bike’s base model. Even though the basic variant of the Hero XPulse 200 4V is a good off-roader, but the latest XPulse Rally Edition motorcycle takes the level of adventure a notch higher.

XPulse 200 4V Rally Racing Edition Colors:Hero MotoCorp has styled the XPulse Rally 200 4V bike on its Dakar Rally inspired racing colours of red and white combo.

The XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition bike's engine is similar to the XPulse standard motor but produces 0.1 horsepower more.

New XPulse rally engine is a 4-valve, oil-cooled, 200cc motor that churns out 18.9 HP of max power at 8500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm, in tune with a five-speed gearbox, as stated by Hero MotoCorp, the world’s biggest two-wheeler maker.

The specially engineered and modified dynamics allow the Hero XPulse range of bikes to be more off-road oriented machines.

XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition features a longer gear shifting lever and long side stand. While the LED lights and the Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster remain the same.

In terms of the XPulse hardware it continues to use the same braking unit and spoked 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel wrapped in twin-purpose rubber tyres.

The suspension system on the new Hero XPulse 200 4V employs a fully adjustable 250mm forks in the front and a 10-way adjustable 220mm shock absorber at the rear.

The XPulse 200 4V Rally bike’s seat height is now 885mm compared to 825mm on the existing STD model, while the new 270mm ground clearance on the XPulse is an increase of 50mm in this edition.

Hero MotoCorp says that the 2022 XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition model will be produced as a limited edition motorcycle. However, it has not yet been officially announced what the exact number of XPulse Rally units will be made. As of now, official bookings of the new XPulse bike can be done from the 22nd of July 2022 via the official Hero website.

According to Mr Malo Le Masson, the director of global product planning and strategy at Hero MotoCorp, “The Rally Edition offers exceptional off-road capabilities through the factory fitted rally kit and specially tuned for the top riders, along with a distinct design cue taken from Hero’s Dakar rally machines. If you want to grasp the much-needed lessons from Hero Motorsports to Rally Raid, the XPulse 200 4V Rally Edition is the ideal two-wheeler for you.”

According to Hero MotoCorp’s Chief Growth Officer, Mr Ranjivjit Singh, the XPulse motorcycle is popular for giving an unparalleled ride experience, and it continues to inspire off-road bikers and never fails to influence adventure riding enthusiasts with a limitless adrenaline rush.

He further said, “The XPulse 200 4V Limited Rally Edition carries the true Hero motor sports DNA, as this Hero bike is loaded with advanced features and is built to provide excellent performance. We are sure that the XPulse customers will be thrilled to ride this adventure and technology laden bike from Hero MotoCorp.”
