Hero MotoCorp introduces the Xtreme 160R 2V 2024 Edition, offering a single variant with updated features and an attractive price for the festive season.
Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V, a refreshed version of its popular street naked motorcycle. Priced at Rs. 1,11 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V comes in a single variant and is Rs. 10,000 cheaper than its predecessor. The new Xtreme 160R 2V features a Stealth Black color scheme and a single-disc setup in the front. The Xtreme 160R 2V 2024 Edition retains its mechanical specifications while introducing cosmetic and feature updates.
The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 163.2cc air-cooled engine equipped with XSens technology and advanced programmed fuel injection. This powerplant generates 15 PS of peak power at 8,500 RPM and 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 RPM, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
In terms of components, the 2024 Edition features a 7-step adjustable mono-shock at the back and a 37mm telescopic suspension up front. Braking duties are handled by a 276mm petal disc in the front and a 220mm at the rear, complemented by single-channel ABS as standard.
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V is positioned below the recently launched Xtreme 160R 4V in Hero's line-up. It competes with models like the Yamaha FZ-X, Apache RTR 160 2V, and Bajaj Pulsar N160 in the Indian market. The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V’s launch appears to be Hero's strategic move to capitalize on the upcoming festive season in the Indian market.
