Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP launched in India at ₹19.05 lakh, featuring upgraded suspension, lighter wheels, and a powerful 937 cc engine.
Ducati India has just expanded its Hypermotard lineup with the introduction of the new Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP. Priced at ₹19.05 lakh (ex-showroom), this new variant comes with several enhancements over the existing models, making it a significant addition to the Hypermotard family.
The Hypermotard 950 SP stands out with several advanced features and components. The motorcycle is equipped with adjustable Ohlins suspension, including 48 mm USD forks at the front with 185 mm of travel, and a mono-shock at the rear with 175 mm of travel. This new suspension setup has resulted in an increased seat height of 890 mm, which is 20 mm higher than other models.
The bike rides on Marchesini forged alloy wheels and comes with Pirelli Supercorsa SP tyres, which offer better grip compared to the Pirelli Rosso 3 tyres found on the 950 RVE. Additionally, the 950 SP sports a fresh paint scheme, updated body graphics, and carbon fibre body panels, adding to its premium feel.
Under the hood, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP is powered by the same 937 cc L-Twin Testastretta engine that delivers 114 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch. Notably, the 950 SP is slightly lighter than the 950 RVE, with a kerb weight of 191 kg, making it about 2 kg lighter.

The Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP is priced at ₹19.05 lakh, making it ₹3.05 lakh more expensive than the 950 RVE. However, the enhancements in design, components, and overall performance justify this price difference, offering an even more aggressive and thrilling riding experience for enthusiasts.
The Hypermotard 950 SP joins the existing Hypermotard 950 RVE and the recently launched Hypermotard 698 Mono in Ducati’s Indian lineup, providing a variety of options for riders looking for a powerful, naked motorcycle with advanced features.
