Key Highlights:
French automaker Citroen has finally showcased its latest flagship. With the global unveiling of Basalt Vision, Citroen enthusiasts are now waiting for the launch of this all new marvel in their home ground. This coupe SUV is now all set to rule the automotive landscape with its advanced technology and sleek design.
No wonder the striking design displayed by Basalt Vision is all an inspiration from its predecessors. A split grille finished in chrome and unique split headlamp is what has influenced the attention of many. Sloping coupe-like roofline and squared wheel arches further executed the sporty look of Citroen Basalt Vision. Focusing on the rear, we can find that the SUV-coupe is featured with LED taillamps and a robust bumper with a silver skid plate.
Though the interior is yet to be explored, Basalt Vision is expected to have an interior inspired from Citroen C3 Aircross. Tagging with features like cruise control, automatic AC, push-button start/stop, and keyless entry, the Basalt Vision is all set to provide a sophisticated and luxurious experience.
6 airbags, electronic stability control, rear parking camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system are some of the advanced safety features which can be expected in this all new Basalt Vision.

Although specifics are yet to be disclosed, the Basalt Vision is likely to be powered by the reliable 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 110 PS and up to 205 Nm of torque. Paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic, this powertrain ensures optimal performance and efficiency on the road.
Not much is known about the specifications of this new model, but we can say that Basalt Vision is likely to house a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which will deliver 110 PS of power and 205 Nm of peak torque, along with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
It is expected that Citoren will be launching Basalt Vision during the latter half of 2024 in India. The expected starting price for the same is Rs 8 Lakh (ex-showroom). One launched Basalt Vision will be positioned as the competitor of Tata Curvv and other popular SUVs in the market, like, Kia Seltos, and Volkswagen Taigun.
As automotive enthusiasts eagerly await its arrival, the Citroen Basalt Vision emerges as a beacon of innovation, setting new standards for SUV excellence in the global automotive landscape.
