The BSA Gold Star is now available in India, priced at Rs 3 lakh. This new motorcycle combines classic design with modern features.
BSA, a well-known heritage brand, has entered the Indian motorcycle market with the launch of its BSA Gold Star, priced at Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). Previously available internationally, the bike will now be sold at select Jawa/Yezdi dealerships across India.
Equipped with a 652 cc, single-cylinder engine
Produces 45 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm
The Gold Star features a modern classic design with a round headlight, curved fenders, and plenty of chrome. It comes with a semi-digital instrument cluster, a 12V charging socket, and a USB port. The bike is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 45 hp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle features a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It has a 320 mm front disc and a 250 mm rear disc for braking, with dual-channel ABS. The Gold Star comes in six color options, with prices ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.34 lakh. It will compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, which starts at Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
