With BMW expecting to launch its R1250 GS and R1250 GS Adventure series bikes in July 2021, BMW Motorrad dealerships have started accepting bookings for the same.

Though BMW has not yet announced the prices or launch of its bikes, R1250GS and R1250 GS Adventure, they have commenced bookings for the same through BMW Motorrad dealerships in India.
BMW R1250 GS and R1250 GS Adventure – New Features
These bikes will get upgrades that include a Dynamic Traction Control and Eco Mode as standard features as per reports. While adjusting torque levels, the Eco Mode enhances power delivery and fuel maximization.
The BMW bikes will incorporate the ABS Pro system, ably assisted by a 6-axis IMU. This combination braking feature engages both brakes simultaneously to improve braking performance.
One can also expect the vehicles to come with new color choices. While the R1250 GS will have the Triple Black and Solid White combo, the R1250 GS Adventure model will sport a combination of Triple Black with icy grey. Besides, the Red-Blue Rallye combo will also be available. Furthermore, BMW might launch these bikes with the “Edition 40-years GS” Black-Yellow combo to commemorate 40 years of its presence by taking inspiration from BMW R100GS.
BMW R1250GS and R1250GS Adventure – Engine Features
These upgraded bikes will draw power from a BS6-compliant 1254cc 2-cylinder engine capable of delivering maximum power of 136hp @ 7750rpm and torque of 143Nm @ 6250rpm. BMW Shiftcam technology, the company's proprietary variable valve control technology, will also be available to enhance the riding experience and improve fuel efficiency.
BMW R1250 GS and R1250GS Adventure – Optional Features
These bikes will come with optional features, including a Hill Start Control Pro System and adaptive cornering lights capable of adjusting the headlamp beam's height.Keep visiting this space for further announcements on the bikes' pricing and launch dates.
