● BMW releases a production-ready version of the e-scooted CE 04 in three riding modes.● The highlight of the CE 04 is the 10.25-inches TFT colour screen display with integrated map navigation and internet connectivity.
BMW Motorrad marches forward into the EV 2-wheeler segment by introducing its all-new electric scooter, CE 04. This e-scooter runs on an 8.9 kWh battery with a range of 130km on a single charge. The powerful magnet electric motor mounted between the battery and the rear wheel delivers a maximum power output of 31kW. Moreover, it can display an acceleration of 0-50kmph in 2.6 seconds under standard conditions and a maximum speed of 120kmph.
Recharging the CE 04 Li-ion battery requires an integrated charging device, a public charging station, or a regular household socket. While taking around four hours and 20 minutes for a full recharge, the optional quick charger can speed it up to one hour and forty minutes.
The BMW CE 04 is available in three standard riding modes, Eco, Rain, and Road. In addition, a dynamic riding mode is also available to help the e-scooter accelerate at faster speeds. Furthermore, the braking system features ABS for additional safety. Besides, this e-scooter offers a mobile phone charging facility with a USB-C charging port.
The 10.25-inches TFT colour screen is its highlight. This facility offers internet connectivity and integrated map navigation. This e-scooter features LED headlamps and tail-lights with LED turn indicators. Riders can opt for an adaptive turning Headlight pro feature to enable safer night riding.
The black and white sections and the floating seat design give the vehicle a modern look. In addition, an Avantgarde Style variant featuring a Magellan Grey metallic colour body is available with a black/orange seat, a matching wind deflector, and various graphics.
