EICMA 2024 will feature the next-gen KTM 390 Adventure with cruise control, Royal Enfield’s first-ever electric motorcycle, and Hero MotoCorp’s new adventure bikes, including the XPulse 210.

Bike Debuts at EICMA 2024: KTM, Royal Enfield, and Hero Steal the Spotlight

The EICMA 2024 event, which is set for November, is expected to be an exciting display of motorcycle industry power and innovation. Prominent producers like KTM, Royal Enfield, and Hero MotoCorp are preparing to present their newest models, which promise cutting-edge features and thrilling introductions.

KTM 390 Adventure with New Technology

At EICMA 2024, KTM will unveil the next-generation KTM 390 Adventure, which will have major enhancements to improve its touring capabilities. Recent spy photos have shown that cruise control is one of the most notable of these features. Long-distance rides are made more pleasant by this technological feature, which enables speed setting and resetting via switchgear on the handlebar.

It will come with a 399cc liquid-cooled engine that generates 45.3 horsepower and 39.5 Nm of torque. Additional important features include traction control, a bi-directional quick shifter, lean-sensitive cornering ABS, and a completely adjustable suspension system. Additionally, it has a 21/18-inch wheel combination and Bluetooth-enabled TFT instrumentation, giving it a flexible choice for both off-road and on-road excursions. Early in 2025, the bike is anticipated to be available in India.

Royal Enfield’s First Electric Bike: The Flying Flea

The Flying Flea, Royal Enfield's first-ever electric motorbike, is expected to make its premiere at EICMA 2024 on November 4, marking the company's entry into the electric motorcycle market. This renowned Classic line serves as the inspiration for the design of this electric motorcycle, which has a retro-modern look. Nonetheless, it stands out in Royal Enfield's lineup because of its bobber-like tail portion.

The Flying Flea is anticipated to be a prototype with a production version to follow, although technical details are still being kept under wraps. A full-color TFT display and cutting-edge rider aids including traction control and several riding modes are highly anticipated features of this EV. In keeping with its luxury image, this electric bike is also expected to be Royal Enfield's priciest offering.

Hero MotoCorp: Karizma XMR and Adventure Models

Hero MotoCorp's several premieres at EICMA 2024 are creating excitement. A recently submitted design patent suggests that the Hero Karizma XMR may soon receive an update. To improve the bike's aerodynamics, the upgraded model might include redesigned fairing with integrated winglets and upside-down forks. Hero is rumored to be considering giving the Karizma XMR a larger 250cc liquid-cooled engine, which would enable it to compete strongly in its class.

Hero is also hinting at the release of a new adventure tourer, which could be the Hero XPulse 210, which is adding to the excitement. In comparison to the present XPulse 200, this bike has a larger fuel tank, a circular LED headlamp, and a more durable, off-road-ready design, according to recent spy photos. The Karizma XMR's 210cc engine, which is tuned for improved low-end torque for off-roading, is expected to generate about 25 horsepower and 20.4 Nm.

Hero is reportedly developing a 400cc XPulse model in addition to the 210, which may share parts with the Maverick 440. With about 35 horsepower and 35 Nm, this larger ADV bike would be a potent choice for adventurers.

Conclusion

With KTM's technologically advanced 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield's daring foray into the electric market, and Hero MotoCorp's thrilling improvements to its well-known models, EICMA 2024 is looking to be a fascinating event for motorcycle aficionados. EICMA is a must-attend show this year because of these releases, which are expected to establish new benchmarks in the adventure, electric, and performance bike markets.
