BGauss D15 was added to the company’s lineup. It would not be wrong to say that this EV scooter is beautifully styled and feature-rich has a solid design and we promise you, you will never complain about the riding quality of this amazing e-scooter.
The BG D15, a new electric scooter from BGauss Electric, has been added to the company's lineup. The BGauss D15 combines smart features and cosmetically beautiful styling with a strong and solid build for a comfortable ride. The BG D15 will be available in two models: the D15i and the D15 Pro, which will cost Rs 99,999 and Rs 1.15 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). Reservations are accepted online and at dealerships for Rs 499 which is fully refundable. D15 will be available for purchase in July of 2022.
Let us take a look at the USP's of this amazing “Made in India” Electric Scooter.
The BGauss D15 has an aesthetically pleasing style. The scooter has beautifully carved straight geometric lines and a straight body without any unwanted protrusions. The round headlight adds to the classy look of this scooter, while the front and side panels are simplistic, yet cosmetically pleasing. The D15 embodies the company's philosophy of producing eye-catching electric scooters by having a large and powerful presence. A lofty front apron, large 16" alloy wheels (biggest in its segment) improves maneuverability and riding comfort, and a broad floor-board highlights the upright appearance
According to BGauss, the scooter boasts a solid metal body for increased sturdiness and durability. The BG D15 comes in five color variations, Metallic Red, Pearl White, Metallic Blue, Moss Green, and a two-tone Black and Silver Combo.
The tubular chassis of the BGauss D15 is supported by telescopic forks in the front and coil spring double shock absorbers in the back. A hub-mounted electric motor with 3100 W of peak power and 110 Nm of torque drives the BG D15, which is powered by a 3.2kWh detachable battery pack with an ARAI-claimed range of 115km. The battery takes 5 hours and 30 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. In Sports mode, it takes 7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour. The other option is to use Eco mode. The battery can also be charged with a wall box charger. The best part is that the charging can be done at any place as it is removable. Add to that, the smart 'Distance to Empty' feature displays how far you can ride in kilometers before you start your adventure.
The BGauss BG D15 is touted as a high-end electric scooter with a high level of safety. Apart from 20 battery safety features, they also provide a powerful battery management system that ensures safe and optimal overall battery regulation. Furthermore, this electric scooter comes with a three-year or 36,000-kilometer warranty. It is “Made in India” in the true sense as its smart battery and motor controller were created and designed in-house at the Chakan facility.
The BG D15 has a waterproof and dustproof electric motor and battery with an IP 67 rating, as well as a battery that is protected from high heat and dust. Annual Maintenance Support, Mobile App Support, Roadside Assistance, and Pick and Drop Facilities are all available to customers. The newly launched BG D15 also has first-in-class features, such as Limp Home Mode, which allows the vehicle to detect errors and move at a reduced speed to efficiently reach the service center or any safe space.
Another notable feature is the Roll Over Sensor, which activates powertrain isolation in the event of a vehicle rollover. This means that acceleration will be temporarily locked in a rolled-over state and will not resume until the vehicle is raised to a comfortable position. The real-time battery diagnostic feature provides critical information to the rider such as battery health, performance, and level of charge so that the rider can stay relaxed and worry-free throughout his/her ride at all times. Other safety features include: Side stand sensors and U-Turn safety features. And all things considered, you are in for an incredible and safe ride.
