Audi India launches the Q8 facelift starting at ₹1.17 crore. Discover its new HD Matrix LED headlights, enhanced interior features, and powerful 3.0-litre V6 engine.

Audi Q8 Facelift Launched in India at ₹1.17 Crore: New Features and Design Update

Audi India has introduced the facelifted Q8, with prices starting at ₹1.17 crore. With the discontinuation of the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe, the Audi Q8 now has no direct competitors in the Indian market. While the updated SUV retains its mechanical setup, it receives subtle cosmetic updates and new features.

The facelifted Q8 is priced at ₹1.17 crore, which is ₹10 lakh more than its predecessor. Although it does not have direct rivals, the Q8 coupe-SUV serves as an alternative to more traditional luxury SUVs such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5.

Exterior and Interior Design Updates

The most significant change in the facelifted Q8 is the introduction of new HD Matrix LED headlights, complete with laser assistance for the high beam and customizable light signatures. The front grille has been subtly updated with new octagonal apertures and ‘L’-shaped inserts, while the air intakes on the bumper have been reshaped. The rear design remains largely unchanged, except for the addition of new digital OLED rear lights that offer four selectable light designs, integrated with the headlights.

Inside, the Q8’s cabin is almost identical to the outgoing model, with updates limited to new stitching on the upholstery and fresh color schemes. The SUV continues to feature Audi’s twin MMI touchscreens, four-zone climate control, a head-up display, and seats that offer heating, ventilation, and massaging functions. The Bang & Olufsen hi-fi system remains standard. Additionally, the facelift introduces an expanded app store, including built-in third-party music apps like Spotify and Amazon Music. The driver assistance systems have also been enhanced.

Engine and Performance

The India-spec Q8 facelift retains its 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers 340hp and 500Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that powers all four wheels, ensuring a robust performance.
