Ather Energy announces the unveiling of 'Halo' Smart Helmet alongside Rizta Electric Scooter on April 6. Features include Bluetooth compatibility, head-up display. Rizta's design, specs, and expected price discussed.
Key Highlights:
Ather enthusiasts have marked the date April 6 as the debut time of Rizta. Ather has scheduled its community day for April 6th and with that the company has unveiled a teaser for one of its smart accessories called ‘Halo’, which has been presumed to be a helmet.
Tarun Mehta, CEO of Ather Energy, came forward on X and twitter the brand-new product as a 'top-secret accessory'. He went on to say that one lucky winner would receive the Halo smart device. The new smart accessory appears to have a silver tone with the Halo logo on its back based on what the teaser shows. It is anticipated that the helmet will have Bluetooth compatibility and an integrated head-up display.
The company has a lot in store for its audience at the Community Day event. Among the event's fascinating unveilings and launches were the Atherstack 6 software update, an innovative mobile app, and the TVS iQube rival, the Rizta electric scooter.
Industry rumors state that the Rizta electric scooter will have a unique appearance from its competitors. It is anticipated to have a round tail section, flat side panels free of creases, and a horizontal LED headlamp mounted on the front apron.
Even though the e-scooter's motor and battery specs are currently unknown, a bigger battery pack and a longer range are expected. Depending on the mode, the company currently offers two battery pack options for the 450 line: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh.
It is expected that the upcoming Rizta will have an emergency stop signal (ESS), telescopic front forks, LED lighting, a big seat, and other features. It will also likely have a single-disc layout on both ends. It is also expected to provide more underseat storage than the 22-liter boot of the Ather 450X.

We estimate that the new Ather electric scooter may cost approximately Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom including FAME 2 subsidy), though it's too early to make a firm estimate. Following its release, a number of models, including the TVS iQube, the Hero Vida V1 Pro, the Ola S1 Pro, and the Bajaj Chetak, will compete with it.
The upcoming Community Day event by Ather Energy is expected to mark a significant turning point for the electric vehicle sector. Ather demonstrates its dedication to innovation and sustainability by launching the Rizta Electric Scooter and the 'Halo' Smart Helmet, ushering in a new era of electrifying mobility.
