BMW launches the 5 Series LWB in India at Rs 72.90 lakh, featuring a luxurious, chauffeur-friendly design and advanced technology.
BMW has introduced the all-new 5 Series LWB in India, priced at Rs 72.90 lakh. This launch comes a few months after the debut of its electric counterpart, the i5. The 5 Series in India now features a long-wheelbase (LWB) version for the first time, targeting buyers who prefer chauffeur-driven luxury sedans. The eighth-generation 5 Series, codenamed G68, will compete with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which has been available in LWB form for some time.
BMW 5 Series LWB starts at Rs 72.90 lakh, undercutting its main rival, the Mercedes E-Class, by about Rs 3 lakh.

The BMW 5 Series LWB is offered in the 530Li variant, powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system.

The LWB version features a wheelbase of 3,105 mm and some distinct exterior elements.

Features: Four-zone climate control, leather upholstery, front-seat ventilation, matrix LED headlamps, 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and six USB-C ports.
Vegan Option: Fully vegan interior option available.
Special attention has been given to the rear seat, enhancing comfort and luxury.
Legroom: Extra legroom due to the extended wheelbase.
Amenities: Touchscreen for climate control, rear wireless phone charger, large moonroof, and optional rear entertainment screens.
Limitations: Rear seats do not recline, and there are no sunshades for the windows or rear windscreen.
The BMW 5 Series LWB combines luxury, performance, and advanced features, making it a strong contender in the luxury sedan segment in India.
