Jaguar Land Rover I-Pace is supposed to be launched in India in February 2021. The car is expected to be priced somewhere between INR 1 crore to INR 1.5 crore.

All-Electric SUV I-Pace From JLR Reaches India For Testing

On Thursday, Jaguar Land Rover said that the first unit of its electric SUV, I-Pace, has reached India at JNPT, near Mumbai, and will further go through extensive testing and validation all over the country. Jaguar Land Rover I-Pace is supposed to be launched in India in February 2021. The car is expected to be priced somewhere between INR 1 crore to INR 1.5 crore.

Rohit Suri, the president and managing director of Jaguar Land Rover India said that the company is delighted to share the pictures of the first Jaguar I-Pace in India. I-Pace is also a signification of touching a milestone in Jaguar Land Rover’s journey in India, as the brand is gearing up for an electrified future.

The Tata-owned Jaguar Land Rover will probably start delivering the car by March 2021. I-Pace is expected to compete with the Mercedes-Benz EQC. Jaguar I-Pace, which has been introduced in India, comes in Firenze Red colour and is a top-of-the-line HSE variant. The car comes equipped with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery, which produces a power output of 294 kW and 696 Nm of peak torque. The car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

According to a company statement, that had been given earlier, the electric SUV will come in three variants, which are S, SE, and HSE. In the statement, the company also said that I-PACE will come with a complimentary five years service package, five years of Jaguar Roadside Assistance, and a 7.4 kW AC wall-mounted charger. Jaguar Land Rover, along with Tata Power is working to provide office and home charging solutions to customers of I-PACE. Tata Power, as part of its ‘EZ Charge’ EV Charging network, has already installed 200-plus charging points for Jaguar customers across the country.
