ABZO Motors introduces an affordable electric cruiser with a 180 Km range. Get ready to ride in style and save on fuel costs!
ABZO Motors has introduced its first-ever electric motorcycle, the ABZO VSOI, with prices starting at just ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The pricing goes up to ₹2.22 lakh (ex-showroom) for different variants. This bike is powered by a 72V 70 Ah lithium-ion battery pack, delivering an impressive range of up to 180 km on a single charge.
The ABZO VSOI enters India's growing electric two-wheeler market, primarily dominated by electric scooters. However, there's a rising trend of electric motorcycles gaining popularity.
The electric motorcycle boasts a retro-themed cruiser design and offers four vibrant colour choices: Imperial Red, Mountain White, Georgian Bay, and Black. It features modern design elements such as LED headlights and taillamps, along with a fully digital instrument cluster. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires offers a comfortable and stylish ride. The bike has a 1,473 mm long wheelbase, 158 mm of ground clearance, and a 700 mm seat height.
The ABZO VSOI generates a peak power of 8.44 bhp and a maximum torque of 190 Nm. It offers three different riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports, with speed ranges of 45 kmph, 65 kmph, and 85 kmph, respectively. When fully charged, this electric motorcycle claims an impressive 180 km of range.
The motorcycle features regenerative braking technology. Charging it with a regular charger takes six hours and 35 minutes. However, it also supports fast charging, allowing a full charge in just three hours and 20 minutes.
Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a comfortable ride. It comes equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels and a combi-braking system (CBS). The bike even has a reverse mode for added rider convenience.
According to Kanchi Patel, co-founder of ABZO Motors, the ABZO VSOI will gradually launch across India. The company also has plans to expand its product line further. "We aim at broadening our presence in Gujarat and diversifying our product line by adding more products, including a second bike category - the standard bike," Patel shared.
With the introduction of the ABZO VSOI, ABZO Motors aims to offer an affordable and stylish electric cruiser option in the Indian market, and it's just the beginning of their electric journey.
