Royal Enfield's 2024 Classic 350 model now includes LED headlights and tail lamps, alongside other modern features. Explore its variants, design updates, and anticipated pricing.
The much-anticipated 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been officially revealed, now equipped with LED headlights among other advanced features. This update from Royal Enfield, a renowned name in retro-style motorcycles in India, was showcased in Mumbai, marking a significant leap in technology for the Classic 350. This model continues to be a bestseller, consistently outperforming not only other 350cc models but also larger motorcycles in Royal Enfield's lineup.
The 2024 Classic 350 offers improved aesthetics with a more captivating design. Although the exact pricing will be disclosed on September 1st, 2024, the motorcycle is set to be available in 11 different color options across five distinct trims: Emerald with Chrome accents, Jodhpur Blue, Madras Red, Medallion Brown Dual Tone, Commandos Sand, and Stealth.
The Classic 350 maintains its predecessor's engine specifications, operating on the J-Platform. It features a J-Series 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC 2V engine, which generates 20.2 bhp at 6,100 RPM and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 RPM, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.
This year's Classic 350 introduces LED headlights, tail lamps, and pilot lamps, blending modern technology with its iconic retro charm. Previously, the LED headlamp feature was reserved for the Super Meteor 650 and select 450cc and 650cc models, with the Meteor 350 being the first 350cc model to sport it.
In terms of features, the top two variants include LED turn indicators, which are optional for the three lower trims. Adjustable brake and clutch levers are standard on the higher-end models and optional on others. Additionally, a turn-by-turn navigation system is included in the top-spec variants.
All variants are equipped with a gear position indicator and a Type C USB charging port. While alloy wheels and tubeless tires are standard on one variant, they are optional for the remaining trims.
The motorcycle's suspension system includes 41mm telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. It is equipped with disc brakes on both ends, with dual-channel ABS available as an option. The Classic 350 rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
The current Classic 350 is priced between Rs 1.93 lakh and Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Although the new model's pricing hasn't been revealed yet, the unveiling event in Mumbai highlighted the new Classic 350's impressive updates and appeal.
