Maruti Suzuki Swift: Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the updated Swift in India on 9 May 2024. The automaker has made some major developments in the hatchback this time. Recently, the carmaker has started sending the new 2024 Swift to selected dealerships. Maruti Suzuki has already opened the bookings for the 2024 Swift and it can reserved with a token amount of Rs. 11000.

The hatchback spotted at the dealership was white, but the company has also kept other paint options on offer that are expected to be revealed at the launch. If we stay focused on the India spec Swift, some major design highlights of the new Swift include LED headlamps and DRLs, new alloy wheels and fog lamps. The rest of the things remain the same as the global variant of the 2024 Swift which we comprehensively covered yesterday.

2024 Swift: New Features

As far as the features are concerned, the new Swift will be loaded with top-notch safety features like six airbags which is standard from the base model. The hatchback has scored 4 stars in the recently conducted JNCAP. Other safety features of the new Swift include a HuD display and a 360-degree camera.

2024 Swift New Z Series Engine

The new 2024 Swift is reported to come with a new Z Series engine 1.2 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine which generates a maximum power output of 80 bhp and a peak torque of 112 Nm. The new Z Series takes forward Maruti’s legacy to provide best-in-class fuel economy to its customers, it can provide 25.72 kmpl mileage. Though, power figures are decreased in the new Swift, with better mileage.
