The NS 200 features a more powerful engine than the Apache RTR 160 as it comes equipped with a 199.5cc Triple-Spark DTS-I FI liquid-cooled engine capable of delivering maximum power of 24.5ps power @ 9750rpm and high torque of 18.5Nm @ 8000pm. This vehicle pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission to provide a comfortable riding experience.

Safety Features

The TVS Apache RTR 160 comes equipped with Remora tyres that stick to the asphalt with an unyielding grip to provide superior acceleration and enhanced braking. The high-quality braking system combines single-channel ABS with 270mm front and 200mm rear brakes. In addition, the Apache RTR 160 also features a drum brake variant.

The high-intensity LED headlamps illuminate the road stretches ahead for long distances to enable safe driving at night. The Bajaj Pulsar features single-channel ABS with 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes. ABS ensures that the Pulsar NS 200 can brake safely on any surface, regardless of the driving conditions. The R17 tubeless tyres add to the overall safety.

The Apache RTR 160 disc brake version is available at Rs 109,365, and the drum brake version comes at Rs 106,365. In addition, TVS offers six colour options on the Apache RTR 160.Four colour options are available on the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, with its pricing starting from Rs 140,544.

Verdict

Performance-wise, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is conveniently more powerful than the Apache RTR 160. The Apache RTR 160 is a better-looking model, but the Pulsar NS 200 exudes confidence. The Apache RTR 160 is priced less, but the Pulsar NS 200 is worth every rupee you spend.
