The motorcyclist community in India has grown exponentially over time. People have begun to notice and appreciate the benefits of living on an open stretch of road with the wind in their hair. The motorbike is much more than a two-wheeled mode of transportation.
Previously, we only had a motorcycle with no classifications, but today, two-wheelers have more options than four-wheelers. Motorcycles for racing, commuters, naked motorcycles, tourers, and go-anywhere or adventure motorcycles are also available.
So, if you're looking for adventure and want to go out for exploring in the wild with a companion? Off-roading or adventure motorcycles are the way to go if you want to experience our beloved yet different India. Let's make things simple for you. Depending on your riding experience, these are the top ten motorcycles on the Indian market that are ideal for your needss
1) Hero X-pulse 200

We're going off-roading first? The Hero Xpulse 200 comes highly recommended since it provides excellent value for money. Despite the fact that the motorcycle is light on your wallet, it makes no concessions. The Hero Xpulse 200 has it all: high ground clearance, extended suspension travel, adjustable suspension, and plenty of power.
Furthermore, Hero offers an optional 'Rally Kit,' which adds even more suspension travel and raises motorcycles. This package also contained front suspension that could be adjusted. Although perfect for off-roading, Hero lacks the power needed for freeway cruising.
2) Royal Enfield Himalayan
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is the motorcycle to choose if you want to do a lot of highway cruising and off-roading. This bike has a high ground clearance and more suspension travel, allowing it to glide over rough roads and no roads. In addition, the Himalayan receives a larger engine, making it more responsive right away and a capable highway cruiser. The terrible part is that it lacks the rally kit. It has 411 cc engine, oil cooled with SOHC. It has 5- speed suspension, power of 24.3Bhp at 6,500 rpm. It weighs 199 kg.
3) Husqvarna Svartpilen 250
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, which is owned by KTM, is a newcomer on the scene. This is not a tough off-roader; rather, it is a scrambler motorcycle that can travel everywhere. Unlike previous motorcycles, the Svartpilen only comes with factory-installed on and off-road tyres, which completes the off-roading package. In addition, the motorcycle is equipped with a tank rack to which a tank bag can be attached. The riding position is ideal, especially when combined with the powerful liquid-cooled engine. Its engine is 248.76 cc with a 6-speed transmission. It has a power of 29.5Bhp at 9000 rpm. Its kerb weight is 154 kg.
4) The BMW G310 GS
The two 310s were recently released by a German automobile, oh, motorcycle manufacturer. The new 310cc twins received a little redesign, with the price being the main talking point. Both motorcycles received a significant price reduction compared to their BS4 counterparts. Let's not get off track and discuss one of the most powerful motorcycles, the BMW G310 GS. High ground clearance, extensive suspension travel, and plenty of power are just a few of the features. The most essential feature is the 'BMW' insignia, which is a symbol of refinement. With the addition of the G310 GS, BMW now has the cheapest adventure vehicle on the market.
5) KTM 390 Adventure
KTM, an Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, is known for its hooligan motorcycles, such as the KTM Duke 390. With the 390 Adventure, KTM has recently joined the adventure and off-road motorcycle market. Until date, the most sophisticated motorcycle on the list has been the KTM 390 Adventure. Ride by wire is included, in addition to the standard features such as ground clearance and extended suspension travel. Along with the traditional anti-lock braking system, this adventure motorcycle has cornering ABS and TC. This is the motorcycle that one can purchase to have a first-hand look at a modern motorcycle. This motorcycle, on the other hand, is not suitable for a novice rider.
6) Versys 650 Kawasaki
To begin with, the Kawasaki Versys 650 is one of the most capable adventure-tour motorcycles available. This bike is currently in a league of its own, with no direct competitors. However, once some time has passed, there may be stiff competition. Let's save that for another day, because this motorcycle has a lot to offer. The Kawasaki Versys 650 features long-travel suspension as well as adjustable front suspension right out of the box. Because this motorcycle has a 21-litre petrol tank, it requires fewer stops for refuelling while touring. What it lacks is a variety of riding modes. But, in the end, when it comes to Kawasaki, no one can go wrong as they are super reliable.
7) BMW F900XR
It's difficult to talk about adventure without mentioning BMW. BMW Motorrad, on the other hand, produces some of the best vehicles in every category, including adventure and off-road motorcycles. The BMW F900XR arrived late on our shores, but better late than never. Enough with the backstory; let's have a look at what the F900XR has to offer. To begin with, there are all-LED headlights, an adjustable windshield, and a TFT screen that displays a slew of options, including riding modes. At this price, you'd assume this BMW would come with adjustable front and rear suspension. Let me explain. You get an electronically adjustable suspension (pre-load and damping). At this price, you do indeed receive a very good machine.
8) Triumph Tiger 900
The Triumph Tiger 800 is the uncontested king, or rather tiger, of off-roading and adventure riding. The motorcycle could go anywhere thanks to its 800cc inline three-cylinder engine. The rider was sometimes the one who kept this ferocious machine in check. However, with BS6, Triumph has upped the ante with the 'Tiger 900.' That motorcycle now has a more powerful engine, more features, and is, in short, superior to the previous legend. What has changed? You are free to inquire. For starters, the new Triumph Tiger 900 has a revised front end with LED headlights, as well as a colourful display. The new Tiger 900 has several amenities, including cruise control, heated grips, fully adjustable suspension, and spoked tubeless tyres.
9) Honda Africa Twin
The Honda Africa Twin is a motorcycle inspired by the famed Dakar rally. For anyone unfamiliar with the Dakar Rally, it is one of the most difficult, dangerous, and serious rally races in the world. This rally is taking place throughout the Sahara Desert. We hope you now understand why it's called the Honda Africa Twin. With that out of the way, what features does this Honda have to offer? Starting with two displays, one colourful that displays all of the information from riding modes to RPM, and the other monochrome that displays the gears and various warning signals. Heated grips, cruise control, and an automatic transmission are also standard on the Honda Africa Twin (Optional). The motorcycle also comes with the standard bits, like the adjustable suspension and the long travel suspension.
10) BMW R1250GS
The BMW R1250GS is one of those motorcycles that does not require any introduction. Almost every modern technology imaginable in a motorcycle is already present on this BMW beast. The 1000cc gem of an engine, on the other hand, is one of the most powerful engines ever seen on a two-wheeler. The BMW R1250GS, on the other hand, demands serious consideration because riding it is no laughing matter. To get all the horses out of this gem engine, you'll need at least 3–4 years of advanced motorcycle experience. Apart from that, the motorcycles have cruise control, all-LED headlights, riding modes, a colourful screen, and other features found on other high-end motorcycles.
