The Design
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has an unmistakable appearance with an extended wheelbase and a large frame. The fuel tank is a distinctive feature, and so is its circular headlamp. The Classic 350 has two variants, the Single-channel and Dual-channel ABS versions. Every aspect of the Classic 350, including its chassis and the exhaust, has a timeless design that contributes to the overall dependability of this vehicle. Generally, it is a single-seater motorcycle, but users can attach a pillion seat as an accessory.
Besides offering a luxurious look, the Suzuki Intruder is a sporty bike with a perfect aerodynamic structure to enable the most efficient cruising performance. The dynamic front-heavy styling, with its uniquely shaped headlamp, offers a powerful look. With its flat design, the full digital meter looks like a smartphone screen and displays all the info required for a safe drive. The highlight of the Suzuki Intruder is its premium backrest that provides excellent support to the pillion rider.
Engine – Power and Handling
One of the strengths of the Classic 350 is its powerful single-cylinder 4S air-cooled fuel injection 346cc engine that pairs with a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox to deliver an excellent mileage performance. In addition, this vehicle features robust telescopic front forks with 130mm travel and twin gas-charged shock absorbers with 80mm travel for the rear wheel to provide the ultimate comfort for users, regardless of the terrain.
The Suzuki Intruder runs on a 4S, 1-cylinder air-cooled SOHC 155cc engine that delivers 13.6ps power and torque of 13.8Nm at 6000rpm. This engine mates with a 5-speed manual transmission system to enable convenient cruising even at low speeds. The electric starter feature is ideal. In addition, the Suzuki Intruder comes with an innovative fuel injection technology featuring sensors to determine the amount of fuel injected for better fuel efficiency.
Safety Features
Despite its massive size, the Classic 350 is one of the safest vehicles to ride on the roads. The front wheel gets 280mm disc brakes with a double piston caliper, whereas the rear wheel has 240mm disc brakes with a single-piston caliper. Depending on the model you choose, you get single-channel or dual-channel ABS to ensure high-quality braking. In addition, the circular headlamp offers powerful illumination to light up vast stretches of the road before you to ensure a safe ride.
The Suzuki Intruder comes with ABS to ensure excellent braking even on slippery roads and negotiating tight corners. In addition, both the wheels get disc brakes for higher efficiency. Furthermore, the front wheel gets telescopic forks, whereas the rear wheel comes equipped with a swing-arm rear wheel shock absorber.
Colour Variants and Pricing
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 offers five colour choices to suit your preferences. Depending on the model, the pricing ranges from Rs 2.03 lakhs to Rs 2.13 lakhs. On the other hand, the Suzuki Intruder is available in two exciting colour options and is priced at Rs 1.26 lakhs.
CarBike360 Says
The Classic 350 and Intruder are good for cruising on highways. While the Classic 350 is excellent for off-road and cross-country driving, the Intruder is better off negotiating busy city traffic. The choice depends on individual preferences.
