The Design
Revolt RV 400 symbolises the ergonomics of comfort and convenience by presenting you with a 2-wheeler riding experience that will never let you down. Starting with its seat, every aspect of this electric motorcycle embodies comfort as it provides you with an upright posture. In addition, LED headlamps and tail lamps add to its attraction quotient. Dimensions-wise, the Revolt RV 400 has a wheelbase of 1350mm and weighs 108Kg to qualify as a lightweight motorcycle.
If the Revolt RV 400 displays the ruggedness of a bike, the Ather Energy 450X is all about elegance, beauty, and brain coupled with excellent performance. The Ather Energy 450X’s highlight is its 7-inch LCD screen that provides you with all the info you need for a safe riding experience. For example, you get information about navigation, incoming calls, and the location of the nearest charging points. Besides, the scooter comes with an excellent boot space of 22L to allow you to carry everything you need.
Engine – Performance and Handling
The Revolt RV 400 features a 3KW Mid-drive motor powered by a 72V 3.24kWh Li-ion battery pack. This battery has a charging time of 4.5 hours for a 100% charge, whereas a 3-hour recharge can power the battery up to 75%. The Revolt RV offers three riding modes, Eco, Normal, and Sports. The Sports mode enables the vehicle to go full throttle at 85kmph for 80km. The Normal mode has a mileage of 65kmph for 100km, whereas the Eco Mode is the best at 45kmph for a 150km run on a single recharge.
The Ather Energy 450X offers a robust motor capable of delivering a top speed of 80kmph and a mileage of 116km on a full recharge. The vehicle displays excellent acceleration from 0 to 40kmph in 3.3 seconds. Recharging the batteries is not an issue, as you can use the home charger facility at any 5A port. The batteries take around three and half hours for a charge up to 80%. A quick recharge for 10 minutes can let the bike run for up to 15 km.
Safety Features and Technology
The Revolt RV comes equipped with R17 90/80 front tyres and 120/80 rear tyres to give the bike a good grip on the road, regardless of the riding conditions. The upside-down forks for the front wheel offer excellent comfort, whereas the adjustable monoshock rear suspension allows the bike to sail over all obstacles without affecting the rider. In addition, the Revolt RV 400 presents a revolutionary charging facility that allows you to recharge the batteries from any electrical socket.
The water-resistant IP 67 rated pressure die-cast aluminium battery pack protects the battery from Nature’s elements. The centrally-positioned monoshock absorber provides the ideal comfort, whereas disc brakes are available for the front and rear wheels. Furthermore, this scooter features a unique reverse mode for easy parking in tight spaces. Mobile app compatibility enables you to keep an eye on your Ather. In addition, the vehicle comes with sensors to provide high-quality safety.
Colour Variants and pricing
The Revolt RV 400 price starts at Rs 90,799 and extends to Rs 1.06 lakhs, depending on your city choice. The Ather 450 is available in two variants, Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus. The Ather 450 Plus is available for Rs 125,490 and the Ather 450X at Rs 144,500. Fame II subsidies can bring down the prices considerably. The Ather 450X is available in four colours.
