Brezza vs. Venue Comparison

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is an entry-level SUV from the Maruti Suzuki stable that promises the comfort of an SUV at affordable prices. In addition, the high ground clearance allows the vehicle to sail over all obstacles on the road with ease.

Hyundai Venue is the SUV for the new generation as it has a sporty look while being sturdy at the same time. Besides, Hyundai Venue offers excellent connectivity, especially in the top-end models.

Exterior Looks

While the Maruti Suzuki hatchbacks have a compact look, the Brezza is a bigger vehicle with an expansive and indomitable appearance. The Brezza comes in six bright colours and three dual-tone versions to look attractive and bold. The bold front grille flanked by its dynamic headlamps gives the Brezza a sportier look. The tail lamps are placed high on the tailgate to accentuate its tallboy looks. The black-coloured skirting on the sides extends over the wheel arches and merges with the front and rear bumpers.

The Hyundai Venue also offers one dual-tone version along with six metallic colours. The innovative grille design comes with a bold mesh design to define the vehicle’s character, whereas the dark chrome adds to the premium appeal. The twin headlamp design and the strategically placed turn indicators add to the innovativeness. The sunroof is a defining characteristic of the Hyundai Venue that distinguishes it from the Brezza.

Interiors and Comfort

The exciting feature of the Brezza is the amount of space it provides compared to the smaller hatchbacks from Maruti. Besides, the 60:40 foldable rear seats add to the overall space and enable you to store more luggage if required. The black-colored interior trims provide the perfect ambience for the black upholstery and cabin. The premium dashboard with the steering wheel placed high enough gives the Brezza a dominating appearance. The Brezza comes equipped with a decent infotainment system that provides the driver with all the information required for a safe drive.

The Hyundai Venue interiors ensure that you stay cool and comfortable, regardless of the journey duration. The Venue comes with functional features that enhance your driving experience and be your ideal travelling companion. The high-quality upholstery gels beautifully with the interior décor to provide a comfortable ambience. In addition, the top-end Hyundai Venue variants offer the next level of car-connected technology. The AVNT screen acts as the perfect interface between you and Blue Link to experience various experimental features with a single touch.

Engine and Performance

The Brezza comes equipped with a powerful 1.5L K-Series petrol engine that pairs well with a manual or automatic transmission system, depending on the variant you have. This engine provides the least noise or vibration levels as it ensures a smooth ride every time. In addition, the Progressive Smart Hybrid technology helps the Brezza save fuel. As a result, the manual transmission vehicle delivers 17.03kmpl, whereas the automatic transmission variant fares better at 18.76kmpl.

The Hyundai venue features a BSVI 1.2L petrol engine with Kappa Dual VTVT technology that delivers maximum power of 83ps @ 6000rpm and 11.6kgm torque at 4000rpm. One of the exciting aspects of the Hyundai venue is that it offers a clutch pedal-free driving experience because of the iMT feature. Besides, it also offers a 7-speed DCT, an advanced transmission system that uses automated clutch operation and gear shifting using two clutches. The manual transmission system features six gears besides the reverse gear.

Ride, Handling, and Safety

The Brezza offers moderate safety in the form of dual airbags for the two front-seat passengers. The TECT platform provides much-needed reliability because of the impact-absorbing structure. Besides, features like high-quality suspensions and high ground clearance make for a comfortable driving experience even on bumpy village roads. The efficient braking system features ABS and EBD to ensure safe braking under adverse driving conditions.

The Hyundai Venue does not compromise on the safety of its occupants as it features six airbags to provide complete safety from unfortunate impacts. Furthermore, the rear parking assistance with the rear camera and sensors make it convenient for the driver to park the vehicle in tight corners. In addition, the High Strength Steel used in the manufacture of the Venue improves body endurance to offer better passenger protection. Other safety features include cornering lamps, auto headlamps with escort function, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, and speed-sensing door lock and impact-sensing door open to ensure one of the safest drives in an SUV.
