The Jeep Compass Sport Variant is available at Rs 17.19 lakhs, whereas the top-end Limited 80th Anniversary edition comes at Rs 26.96 lakhs.

The Mahindra XUV500 comes at an attractive pricing of Rs 14.63 lakhs and goes up to Rs 18.78 lakhs to compete with the Jeep Compass on an even footing.

The Hyundai Alcazar prices start from Rs 16.30 lakhs and go up to Rs 20.15 lakhs in an extensive range of variants. While the Mahindra XUV500 is the best on the pricing front, it is not a recommended vehicle because Mahindra plans to remove the XUV500 from its fleet and replace it with the XUV700. The Hyundai Alcazar and Jeep Compass are similarly priced and come with high-quality features. If you look for traversing hilly terrain, the Jeep should be the best vehicle for you. However, if your space is the urban jungle, the Alcazar seems to be a better bet.
