Honda WR-V Exterior
With its action-packed features, an aggressive front fascia with chrome grille, the compact SUV smiles at you with its beaming LED lights. The solid bold chrome grille accentuates the looks, with the Honda emblem placed perfectly at the centre.
The new advanced LED projector headlamps illuminate the road ahead for a considerable distance. If the visibility is poor, you always have the option of switching on the fog lamps placed strategically below the bold LED headlamps.
While the front headlights cause a flutter, the rear LED combination lamps can blow your mind away as they gel perfectly with the WR-V design to make a forceful statement.
The VX variants feature an electric sunroof with a one-touch open/close function and auto-reverse. The ORVMs with turn indicators add to the vehicle's safety. The advanced R16 dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels add to the vehicle's stature. The side protective cladding and the silver-coloured front and rear bumper skid plates make this vehicle look elegant and imposing.
Honda WR-V Interior
The first aspect that strikes you in the compact SUV is the spacious interior design that frequently encourages you to go on long drives. The driver gets full assistance from the advanced multi-information combi-meter with Eco Assist ambient rings that provide all the required information in a single place. The tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel make it a pleasure to drive the vehicle.
The interiors are comfortably spacious to accommodate five adults, including the driver. The premium seat upholstery with a unique emboss and mesh design provides maximum comfort to the occupants. Another excellent aspect of this SUV is the 363L boot space that allows you to stack your luggage conveniently.
This car takes care of minor aspects like a glove box, front/rear bottle holder, driver cup and smartphone holder, front armrest with power outlet, and the spacious front console with USB and HDMI accessory sockets.
The Digipad 2.0 touchscreen advanced display audio system is this vehicle's highlighting feature. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility, media player, and weblink (smartphone connectivity) are excellent features to have in the Honda WR-V.
Honda WR-V Engine and Performance
Honda WR-V offers diesel and petrol engine variants. The 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine can deliver up to 66kW power @ 6000rpm and a mileage of 16.5kmpl. The 1.5L diesel engine is comparatively more powerful as it produces 73kW power @ 3600rpm and delivers mileage performance of 23.7kmpl. The low-friction aluminium construction ensures less noise and makes the Honda WR-V a pleasure to drive.
Honda WR-V does not offer any automatic transmission system. Both the petrol and diesel engines mate with a 6-speed manual transmission model that allows the SUV to cruise along smoothly on the highways and also manoeuvre through heavy city traffic with equal ease.
Honda WR-V Ride, Handling, and Safety
The Honda WR-V comes with mandatory dual airbags for the front-seat passengers. The impact mitigating headrests protect the occupants from neck and back injuries. ABS with EBD has become an almost standard accessor on every vehicle today.
The ACE Body structure of the Honda WR-V is shock-resistant and can bear heavy impacts to protect the car's occupants from serious injuries. Rear parking sensors help you to steer clear of obstacles when parking the vehicle.
The ECU Immobilizer system prevents car thieves from fiddling with the vehicle. The driver-side window comes equipped with a smooth one-touch up./down operation with pinch guard.
Other safety features include high-speed alert, key-off, door-ajar reminder and indicator, day/night rearview mirror, and intelligent pedals that function as a brake override system.
Honda WR-V Competition Check
The Honda WR-V faces stiff competition from Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Volkswagen Polo Cross, Toyota Etios Cross, and Hyundai Active i20.
