Dio vs. Jupiter Comparison

Design
Honda Dio comes with a futuristic design accentuated by a new fierce-looking LED headlamp to deliver clear visibility on the roads. The exquisitely positioned signature LED rear lamp looks dashing and adds style to its overall appearance. In addition, Honda Dio does away with the analogue meter and replaces it with a new fully digital meter to provide accurate info. Other excellent features include a retractable side-step, split grab rail, muffler protector, and ample space in the boot to place your belongings.
The TVS Jupiter is an attractive scooter with an appealing body structure and offers high-quality durability. The LED headlamp provides ample visibility on the roads while ensuring safe riding. The stainless steel muffler guard adds to the beauty. TVS Jupiter offers the largest wheelbase (1275mm) and leg-space (375mm) amongst contemporary scooters. Other features include a dual-side lock, large boot space, double retractable bag hooks, and external fuel filling options.
Engine – Performance and Handling
The Honda Dio features a 124cc powerful engine with advanced fuel injection technology and eSP technology to deliver enhanced mileage and performance. This vehicle delivers maximum power of 6.07kW @ 6000rpm and torque of 10.3Nm @ 5000 rpm. In addition, the ACG starter mechanism in the Honda Dio ensures minimum noise when starting the vehicle. Thus, it reduces engine maintenance.
Compared to the Honda Dio, the TVS Jupiter has a less powerful 110cc ETFi engine. However, this BS6-compliant engine offers 15% more mileage than the conventional two-wheeler engines available in its segment. Jupiter offers two riding modes, Economy and Power, that lets you enjoy the best of both worlds. The intelligent ignition system ensures superior ride quality and better in-traffic mileage performance.
Safety Features
The Honda Dio telescopic suspension for the front wheel provides the ideal cushioning while negotiating bumpy roads. The 3-step adjustable spring-loaded hydraulic rear shock absorbers add to the comfort level. The 171mm ground clearance is higher than what many motorcycles offer. Tubeless tyres and powerful brakes on both wheels enhance the overall safety while delivering a high-quality riding experience.
The TVS Jupiter features a metal body that provides the ideal sturdiness and flexibility simultaneously. The powerful LED headlamp shines brightly at night to provide the best illumination and ensures a safe ride. Parking brakes ensure that the vehicle does not move around when parked. In addition, the multifunction indicator lamps alert you about any problems with the vehicle to ensure that the vehicle delivers a safe performance.
Colour Variants and Pricing
The Dio offers two variants, Dio STD and Dio DLX, with the DLX version coming with better features. The STD version is priced at Rs 64,510, and the DLX, Rs 67,908.Jupiter comes in five different variants priced in the range of Rs 65,673 to Rs 75,773. In addition, the variants come with different colour options.
