Latest Update: After the success of Tiago EV and the recently launched Punch EV, Tata is expected to launch a more powerful & performance version of Tiago EV. It will likely be called Tiago EV Blitz Edition. However, the exact launch/unveil date of this is yet unknown.

Introduction
Tiago EV is Tata’s 3rd EV model and also the last one to be based on a modified ICE platform (1st gen EV car). Just like Tigor EV and Nexon EV, Tiago EV was also designed and developed by modifying the chassis of its ICE counterpart. Basically it was developed by modifying and converting the ICE Tiago to support electric powertrain.
Exterior and Design
On the design front, Tata Tiago EV gets miniscule difference compared to its ICE counterpart i.e. the petrol engine powered Tiago. The visible difference between the two lies only in the front grille, blue colour accents and the EV badging.
Interior and Features
Being an EV, it gets more features and tech than its ICE counterpart. Some of these features include Z-Connect connected car tech, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, push button start, cruise control, etc.
Battery & Motor
Tata Tiago EV comes in two battery capacity options. There's a 19.2 kWh battery pack with 250 km of range and a 24 kWh battery pack with 315 km of range. The motor in the 19.2 kWh version generates 61 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. The motor in the 24 kWh version generates 74 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque.

The claimed range of Tata Tiago EV is 250 km for the 19.2 kWh battery pack version and 315 km for the 24 kWh version.

Tata Tiago EV measures almost similar to its ICE counterpart with length being 3,769 mm, width being 1,677 mm and height being 1,536 mm. Its boot space is 240 litres.
