Overall i really liked maruti alto 800 tour, an excellent deal for the price, although the front row is too small to lot crowded. The drivers seat is also less comfortable. There should be some additional necessary features in this car.

This car is one of the best I've ever owned. The mileage is so low that I can travel up to 2,000 kms without any problem. The AC is good and keeps the cabin cool even in scorching heat. It is a great car to drive, has a good mileage and is very comfortable even on long drives. The only bad thing about my car is that it has no AC and hence I have to drive with the windows down most of the time.

Alto 800 has 800 cc engine whereas K10 has 1000cc k series engine which offers better performance and power. Moreover , the interiors of the k10 are much better as compared to alto 800. Same case with the exteriors.Things to remember:-Keeping the engine cool at regular intervals. i.e. taking breaks. After driving when you get tierd take breaks. See that engine is cooled (do not cool it by putting water or any other stuff.)Driving speed. 50–60kms for 110cc bike on top gear. This speed will ensure engine is not going beyond it's temperature and will help you to cover more distance.Oil quantity. Make sure you have recommended oil level in you bike.Tyre pressure. Make sure to have recommended Tyre pressure. Many of us ignore this but it is most important. LeIs it advisable to take a 3000km trip on my 2017 Maruti Alto 800?Yes, you can easily do it. I drove my Alto 800 2013 version from Gurgaon to Dalhousie which is around 600Kms in a single stretch and there was no problem at all. The advantage of Maruti is its engine quality.Since Alto is not that comfortable, therefore, you can feel tired in 3000 km journey. My advice would be not to travel more than 800 - 900km/ day. Start early in the morning 5 am (wake up at 4 am) and drive till evening 6 - 7 pm with 4 breaks (2 major of at least 20 mins and 2 minor 10 mins). Take a sound sleep

First time I drove , while tripping with my friends. One on my friend bought Maruti Alto 800 tour last year. we travelled for approximately 200 km and was surprised to see the average mileage of approx 23 kmpl. It took approximately 12 liter of oil. The price of petrol was contributed among us. Definitely the first impression of Alto 800 is quite impressive. Overall performance is good.
