Introduction
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is a completely redesigned adventure bike that offers improved power, performance, and technology. It is the successor to the 411cc iteration of the motorcycle, but it is not an updated offering but a brand-new motorcycle that has been developed from the ground up.
Variant and Color
It is available in India in four variants: Base, Pass, Summit, and Hanle Black. The Base variant is priced at Rs. 2.69 lakh, the Pass variant at Rs. 2.74 lakh, the Summit variant at Rs. 2.79 lakh, and the Hanle Black variant at Rs. 2.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
Italso comes in five colour options: Kaza Brown, Slate Himalayan Salt, Slate Poppy Blue, Hanle Black and Kamet White.
Engine and Power
This motorcycle is powered by a new 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 40 bhp of power and 40 Nm of torque. It is the first engine from Royal Enfield with liquid cooling and four valves per cylinder. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch as standard.
Fuel Efficiency and Tank Capacity
Himalayan 450 has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres, which gives it a good range for long-distance riding. The fuel efficiency of this bike is not officially revealed by the company, but it is expected to be around 25 kmpl.

It has a wheel size of 21 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. The wheels are fitted with dual-purpose tyres that can handle both on-road and off-road conditions. The weight of the Himalayan 450 is 196 kg (kerb), which makes it lighter than the previous model.
