The KTM 390 Enduro R is a dirt bike specifically designed for adventure touring and off-roading. The compact build of this bike includes beak-like fenders and simple LED headlights. The primary goal of the design of this motorcycle is to ensure stability and agility in open soil and off-road conditions. According to the latest updates, this bike will launch expectedly on January 2025 and the expected price of this motorcycle is ₹3.3 lakh (ex-showroom).
Introduction
The KTM 390 Enduro R has a rugged design with minimalistic bodywork to make it as light as possible for efficient off-roading. The motorcycle consists of a single LED headlamp up front and from the rear end, it looks like the390 Adventure, the motorcycle it is inspired from.
Variants
The Enduro R is available only on a single model. However, it may come under the KTM’s 390 Adventure series along with the 390 Adventure and 390 Adventure X. All these variants are adventure specific but the Enduro R is specifically for off-roading.
Engine and Power
KTM 390 Enduro R is equipped with a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 399cc engine, the same which is used in the 3rd gen Duke 390 but with adjusted gear ratios for better off-roading. This engine produces 46PS at 8,500rpm and 39Nm at 6,500rpm, along with a 6-speed gearbox added with assist and slip clutch and a standard quick shifter for Indian-specific models.
Features
Talking about the features, this dirt bike comes with a compact LED instrument cluster which is controlled via a joystick. This console shows basic bike information such as speed, RPM, fuel levels, trip meter, and the gear indicator. In addition, it has all LED lighting, for better visibility in remote off-road areas. Additionally, Enduro R comes with a long single seat for better rider comfort when jumping over lumpy and dumpy terrains. Not only that, it also features a WP fork at the front and a mono-shock absorber in the rear wheel to personalise the suspension according to the terrain. Enduro doesn’t stop here, it also boasts a dedicated button to deactivate ABS for more control during rugged areas.
Wheel Size and Weight
The wheel of this motorcycle includes 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels both spoked to facilitate knobby tires for superior grip on rough surfaces. When it comes to the weight of Enduro R, its lightweight design enhances maneuverability, making it easier to hit tight trails and open soil obstacles.

The rivals of the KTM 390 Enduro R are the BMW G 310 GS and Suzuki V-Strom SX.
Expected Price and Launch
The KTM 390 Enduro R will expectedly launch in January 2025, with an expected price range of approximately ₹3.30 lacs to ₹3.50 lacs. This will make it a competitive off-road motorcycle for those seeking a reliable off-road dirt bike.
