So have you decided if you want to buy a Petrol/Diesel powertrain, EV or Hybrid. It's still very early in 2025 so do not choose anything in hurry we have listed ICE, EV and Hybrid upcoming cars. Here you can get  expected or confirmed features of these SUVs not only that anticipate launch dates and pricing.

Upcoming ICE SUVs in 2025 in India

Kia Syros

Kia’s all-newSyrosis in huge demand and people are taking interest in it. Ready to launch on February 3, 2025, this boxy little beast takes design cues from the futuristic EV9, flaunting vertical LED headlamps, L-shaped taillights, and slick flush door handles. Under the hood, you’ve got options: a zippy 1.0L turbo petrol (120 hp, 172 Nm) with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT, or a torquey 1.5L diesel (115 hp, 250 Nm) paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic. Fuel efficiency? Think up to 20.75 kmpl for the diesel manual!

Inside, the Syros feels premium: dual 12.3-inch screens (infotainment + driver display), a 5-inch climate control touchpad, ventilated front and rear seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Plus, Harman Kardon’s 8-speaker setup cranks up the vibes. Safety’s a big deal too—Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist), six airbags, 360-degree camera, and parking sensors all around. With six variants starting from HTK to loaded HTX+ (O), Kia’s not holding back here.

At 3,995 mm long and 190 mm ground clearance, it’s compact but packs 390–465L boot space.

MG Majestor

MG’s Majestor is storming into India on February 18, 2025, and it’s bringing big diesel power and posh vibes. Think of it as MG’s answer to the Toyota Fortuner and Jeep Meridian. Under the hood, you’ve got two diesel options: a 2.0L turbo (161 PS, 373.5 Nm) with rear-wheel drive, and a beastly 2.0L twin-turbo (215.5 PS, 478.5 Nm) with 4WD—both paired with smooth 8-speed automatics. At over 5 meters long and with a near-3-meter wheelbase, this SUV is a literal heavyweight.

Visually, the Majestor flaunts a bold new grille, tall LED headlights, 19-inch alloys, and connected LED taillights. Step inside, and it’s all about luxury: a massive touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, 12-way powered front seats (with massage and ventilation!), three-zone AC, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting. Safety’s covered too—six airbags, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS with blind-spot monitoring and emergency braking.

If MG prices this right, the Majestor could shake up the premium SUV space. Perfect for those who want diesel muscle without skimping on tech or comfort.

New Hyundai Venue

The 2025 Hyundai Venue is coming up in the compact SUV game with major changes. Expected to launch by late 2025, this refreshed model is rumored to borrow swanky design cues from its bigger sibling, the Creta. Think sharp split LED headlights, a bold parametric grille, and sleek connected LED taillights (for the top variant). Inside, expect a cabin overhaul—bigger screens, fresh color combos, and a modern steering wheel.

Under the hood, Hyundai’s playing it smart. The base 1.2L petrol engine (82 hp) sticks with a 5-speed manual, while the peppy 1.0L turbo-petrol (118 hp) gets both manual and a slick 7-speed automatic. Diesel lovers aren’t left out: the 1.5L unit (114 hp, 250 Nm) might even score an automatic option later. Tech-wise, leaked details hint at Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and a sunroof. Safety gets a boost too, with six airbags, traction control, and tire pressure monitoring.

Hyundai’s clearly doubling down on style and smarts here. If the leaks hold up, the Venue could stay ahead of rivals like the Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza.

Tata Punch Facelift

Tata’s Punch is one of the top selling compact SUVs and comes up with various upgrades in the Punch Facelift version. It is expected to be launched in Mid year of 2025. The anticipated price is around ₹6 lakh, keeping its peppy 1.2L petrol engine (88 PS, 115 Nm) with 5-speed manual or AMT options, plus a CNG variant (73.5 PS) for budget-conscious buyers. And yes, that petrol version still sips fuel like a pro—around 20 kmpl

Visually, expect a sharper look: new grille, tweaked bumpers, redesigned headlights/taillights, and fresh alloy wheels. Inside, Tata’s upping the game with a 10.25-inch touchscreen (wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay!), a fully digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, and even an air purifier. Oh, and the panoramic sunroof might trickle down to more variants.

Safety gets a boost too—six airbags, 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, and stability control. Throw in rear AC vents, wireless charging, and cruise control

Tata Sierra ICE

Tata’s Sierra ICE is one of the most awaited SUVs for a very long time and it can be launched at the end of 2025. Built on Tata’s new ATLAS platform (hello, 4X4 potential!), it’ll pack a 1.5L turbo-petrol (170 hp, 280 Nm) with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT, and a gutsy 2.0L diesel (170 hp, 350 Nm) paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic. Translation? This thing’s ready to tango with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

Design-wise, think futuristic: full-width LED light bars up front, flush door handles, chunky bumpers, and those retro-cool vertical rear taillights. Inside, the cabin screams premium—triple screens stretching across the dash, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting. Tech junkies get wireless charging, connected car features, and Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, emergency braking). Safety? Seven airbags, 360-degree cameras, and parking sensors seal the deal.

Upcoming Electric SUVs in 2025 in India

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

Maruti’s e Vitara launch confirmed for March 2025, and it’s packing serious range and tech. With two battery options—a 49 kWh pack for ~375 km and a beefier 61 kWh version hitting up to 500 km—this electric SUV promises to be a highway hero. The smaller battery churns out 141 bhp, while the larger one zips to 171 bhp, all riding on Maruti’s new Heartect-e EV platform.

Design-wise, it’s sleek: LED lights all around, active air vents, 18-inch alloys, and a panoramic sunroof. Inside? Think premium: a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital dash, Harman audio, ventilated front seats, and even a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Rear seats recline and slide, and there’s a PM 2.5 filter to keep the air fresh.

Safety’s top-notch with seven airbags, 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS (lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control). Drive modes like Eco, Sport, and Snow add versatility, plus one-pedal driving for city commutes. Choose from six single-tone or four dual-tone shades (hello, black roof!).

Priced to rival the Hyundai Creta EV and Tata Curvv, the e Vitara could be Maruti’s EV breakthrough—stylish, loaded with tech, and efficient.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata’s Harrier EV is expected to launch in the middle of 2025, and it’s coming up with ICE like serious muscle. With a 500 km range on a single charge, this all-wheel-drive SUV packs a dual-motor setup cranking out a hefty 500 Nm of torque—perfect for both highway cruising and off-road adventures. At 4.6 meters long and with a 2.7-meter wheelbase, it’s got the road presence to match its specs.

Visually, the Harrier EV ditches the grille for a sleek, closed-off look, adds vertical slats to the bumper, and rocks connected LED DRLs and aero-optimized alloy wheels. Inside, you’re treated to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. Oh, and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and wireless charging?

Safety’s top-tier too: 7 airbags, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS (lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control), and stability control. Tata’s clearly aiming to outgun rivals like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and MG ZS EV with this package.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV

After XUV 3XO ICE success, the 3XO EV is ready to challenge other compact SUV EVs in early 2025. The estimated price to be around ₹15–20 lakh, this electric SUV is rumored to pack a punch with two battery options: a 34.5 kWh pack for ~375 km range and a bigger 39.4 kWh version that could hit 456 km. Both are paired with a zippy 150 hp motor (310 Nm torque) driving the front wheels—and yes, fast charging’s likely on the menu.

Design-wise, expect a fresh face with tweaked grilles and air dams, plus a cleaner rear bumper. The cabin? Think premium: soft-touch materials, a massive panoramic sunroof (the biggest in its class), ventilated front seats, and a slick 10.2-inch touchscreen. Safety’s a big focus too, with radar-based ADAS for collision warnings, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera. Oh, and projector headlights and multiple airbags round out the package.

If Mahindra nails the launch, the XUV 3XO EV could give rivals like the Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV a serious run for their money.

Mahindra XEV 7e

Mahindra’s XEV 7e is rolling out, and it’s packing some serious electric firepower. With a massive 79 kWh battery promising up to 650 km range, this SUV isn’t messing around. Choose between a single-motor setup or a dual-motor AWD version for extra oomph, all wrapped in a bold design: think vertical LED headlights, sleek light bars, aero-optimized alloy wheels, and a grille-free face that screams “future.”

Inside, it’s a tech paradise. Picture a triple-screen dashboard (yes, even a passenger display!), plush dual-tone captain seats in the second row, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting that shifts moods. Dual-zone AC, memory-enabled power-adjustable front seats, and a hands-free powered tailgate add to the luxury. Safety? You’ve got 7 airbags, Level 2 ADAS (lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control), and nifty extras like auto park and tire pressure monitoring.

At 4.7 meters long with a 2.75-meter wheelbase, the XEV 7e aims to rival the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.

Upcoming Hybrid SUVs in 2025 in India

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid is expected to come in the second half of 2025. It may be powered by a 1.2 litre Z12E petrol engine combined with a hybrid system which can produce 88.5 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque. If we talk about fuel efficiency it can provide 35kmpl of mileage due to its hybrid setup. We can expect a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox option.

On the exterior we can expect updated bumpers, grille, and new alloy wheels. Inside there can be some additional features like heads-up display, cruise control, leather wrapped steering wheel, and ADAS features. It is anticipated to have 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1 inch infotainment touchscreen display with Android Auto and AppleCarplay.

For comfort there are chances to get a 10-way powered driver seat, ambient lighting and panoramic sunroof.
