Tata Motors is all set to launch the new 2024 Altroz Racer on 7th of June. Once launched, the performance hatchback will rival the only player in the segment i.e. Hyundai i20 N-Line. Also, with the arrival of the Altroz Racer, Tata has decided to discontinue the Altroz iTurbo. Thus, replacing the iTurbo with the more powerful and feature loaded Racer. The launch as well as the price reveal of the Altroz Racer is scheduled on 7th June. On the pricing front, we expect Tata to price this hot hatch between Rs 9.5 Lakh to Rs 11 Lakh (Ex-Showroom).

Tata Altroz Racer will be powered by the same 1.2 litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that powers the Nexon. In Altroz Racer, this engine will be tuned to deliver 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque.
Moreover, for now, only the 6 speed manual transmission is confirmed for the Altroz Racer. The rumored 6 or 7 speed DCA (Dual Clutch Automatic) might arrive sometime later.
The Altroz Racer will be available in 3 variants i.e. R1 or the base variant, R2 or the mid variant and R3 or the top variant.
Customers will be able to choose from 3 different colour options. These include Atomic Orange, Avenue White and Pure Grey. All the 3 colour options will also come with blacked out roof, bonnet, rear spoiler, A & C pillar. Moreover, all the three colour options will come with white colour racing stripes on the bonnet and the roof.
