| Ola S1 Pro | ₹ 1.40 Lakh ||------------|---------------|| Ather 450X | ₹ 1. 37 Lakh |
While the Ather 450X costs ₹ 1.37 lakh, the Ola S1 Pro is priced at ₹ 1.40 lakh. Undoubtedly, these prices will vary for some states due to additional EV subsidies.
Ather 450X is offered in 7 colors and Ola S1 Pro is offered in 17 different colors.
| | Ola S1 Pro | Ather 450X ||-------------------|------------|------------|| Weight (Kerb) | 125kg | 108kg || Underseat Storage | 165mm | 160mm || Ground Clearance | 36 liters | 22 liters |
Ola S1 Pro has a kerb weight of 125 kg and a ground clearance of 165 mm, whereas Ather 450X weighs 108 kg and has a ground clearance of 160 mm. In terms of under-seat storage, the S1 Pro provides 36 liters of capacity as opposed to 22 liters for the Ather 450X.
The above figures show that even though both scooters are fairly light, the Ather450X will be slightly more maneuverable than the Ola S1. However, Ola S1 has a slightly higher ground clearance than Ather and is more practical in terms of luggage space (it can fit two open-face helmets).
When you think of electric scooters, the range is the first thing that springs to mind. Unless the scooter enables battery switching, you cannot just top-up your scooter in a minute like you can with fuel scooters.
| | Ola S1 Pro | Ather 450X ||---------------|---------------|---------------|| Battery pack | 3.97 kWh | 2.9 kWh || Peak power | 11 bhp | 8 bhp || Claimed range | 181 km/charge | 116 km/charge || Top speed | 116 km/h | 90 km/h || 0 to 40 km/h | 3 seconds | 3.3 seconds |
A 3.97 kWh battery pack inside the Ola S1 Pro powers an electric motor with an 11 bhp maximum output. The scooter is said to have a riding range of up to 181 kilometers on a single charge and has three riding modes: Normal, Sport, and Hyper. Ola S1 can sprint from 0 to 40 km/h in 3 seconds and can go at a top speed of 115 km/h.
The Ather 450X, on the other hand, combines an electric motor with a 2.9 kWh battery pack to produce an impressive 8 bhp of peak power and accelerate the scooter to 80 km/h. This scooter has a riding range of 116 km per charge and features four riding modes: co, Ride, Sport, and Warp. Performance-wise, the Ather 450X can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds.
The above results demonstrate that Ola S1 Pro outperforms Ather 450X in terms of top speed and riding range. Although the weight differential between the two scooters is expected to cancel out the difference, the Ola scooter sprints to 40 km/h faster than its Ather counterpart.
| | Ola S1 Pro | Ather 450X ||---------------|--------------|--------------|| Charging Time | 6 hrs 30 min | 5 hrs 45 min |
Using a standard AC charger, the Ola S1 Pro's battery can be fully charged in 6 hours 30 minutes, while fast charging can refuel the battery to travel 75 km in 18 minutes. Our average charging rate now stands at 4.16 kilometers per minute.
The battery of the Ather 450X can be fully charged in 5 hours and 45 minutes, and it may be charged quickly at a rate of 1.5 kilometers per minute or 15 km in 10 minutes.
While Ather has 400 charging stations spread out around the nation, Ola's network is still under construction.
With a top speed of 116 km/h compared to the Ather 450X's top speed of 90 km/h, the Ola S1 Pro wins.
While Ather 450X has traditional twin forks with mono-shock, Ola S1 Pro has a single-sided fork and mono-shock. The Ather 450X employs 200 mm front and 190 mm rear disc brakes, whereas the Ola scooter uses 220 mm front and 180 mm rear disc brakes to handle braking tasks.
Another element that sets electric scooters unique from petrol scooters is the extra functions they offer.
The seven-inch touchscreen dashboard of the Ola S1 Pro has resizable graphics and a widget structure. This instrument cluster has built-in offline and real-time navigational maps. The console also enables the user to use voice commands to access a variety of features (music, telephony, etc.).
The Ola S1 Pro also offers hill-hold control, reverse mode, geo-fencing, built-in speakers, cruise control, keyless entry, and lock/unlock. On a smartphone, the Ola Electric app provides data such as speed, trip meter, odometer, battery level, and possible riding range.
A seven-inch touchscreen instrument panel with Bluetooth for telephony and music is also included with the Ather 450X, but voice commands are not available. A park assist system with reverse and forward modes, an illuminated under-seat boot, regenerative braking, and a dedicated app that enables users to find charging stations, view car statistics, save locations, and even save documents are further noteworthy features offered on the 450X.
This indicates that even though both scooters have a tonne of features, the Ola S1 Pro now provides better functionality and convenience. However, both instrument sets are capable of receiving over-the-air updates, so businesses may keep adding extra creature amenities to their cars.
Starting with the design, both the scooters were built with a distinct design language.
Let's start with the Ather 450X, which has a sporty, futuristic look that makes it stand out on the road whereas The Ola S1 Pro has a modern, fashionable design.Both scooters are worth taking into consideration if you choose a sporty or modern design.
Reports indicate that Ather 450X has a significantly higher build quality and would survive longer than Ola S1 Pro, which has drawn complaints for some of its hardware.

To begin with, the Ola S1 Pro has outstanding performance and range numbers. Compared to the Ather 450X, it has a longer range between charges and greater acceleration because to its larger battery and superior electric engine. This improved performance may make riding more enjoyable, especially for people who value quick acceleration and the capacity to travel farther between charges.
Second, the pricing scheme for the Ola S1 Pro might be more competitive, delivering a balance between features and price. Consumers on a tight budget might find it more appealing if it offers comparable or superior features at a lower price point than the Ather 450X.
Furthermore, the Ola S1 Pro might provide a more wholehearted ownership experience than the Ather 450X if it includes cutting-edge connection technologies, an ergonomic design, and a wide-ranging service ecosystem.
